Yeah, I know. No offense intended and certainly none taken on my part. Especially since I am no native speaker, albeit with quite a bit language training...not really as English is not everyone's first language so without sarcasm tags could have been a genuine question.
They aren't really any different from any other business, gaming or otherwise, and the credibility they have now with me is the same they've always had. Companies exist to make money and if you understand that, many of their decisions make perfect sense.
I remain here because I genuinely enjoy the game and many of the other players in the game.
Companies exist to make money, true. In order to do so, they subscribe to a minimum amount of standards so that they are not forced going F2P after 10 months past release, on a $100M investment they might never earn back.
Good thing ESO hasn't gone F2P.
