This makes me think that it would be good to unite find pieces that reveal interesting secrets or allow to obtain unique objects.

It would be like a hunt for parts of relics.

The reconstructed artifacts could be from cosmetics objects up useful items for dynamic game.

They could be useful parts of ancient recipes for professions, parts of ancient magic items that allow invoke unique mounts or company pets , etc.
