all will be depends on DLC price.MAybe it's will be better to buy "5500 pack" , buy DLC+exp potions instead of prem.Who knows:) Just need to wait for the prices1. Subscription: You pay $15 /30 days and you get:
- A stipend of 1500 Crowns per month, given at the start of the subscription period
- Access to all DLC for the duration of your membership
- A 10% bonus to XP and gold gain, and crafting research and inspiration
2. B2P
IF you want to buy crowns, 1500 cost $15
Now, since there are no DLC yet, and probably you don't want to buy crowns, it is very simple: don't subscribe.

[*] Waystone with a 24 hour cooldown
It occurred to me that there is an easy way to make subscriptions more valuable and thus keep more money flowing for things like DLC:
For every month of a subscription add an extra 100 crowns to the 1500 given.
If someone subscribes for three months, they would get 1600 in month one, 1700 month 2, etc.
Some players would become more and more loathe to cancel their subs and halt their Crown allotment advancement.
They want my money, I want good content. I pay for good content. It's literally that simple.
5 more crowns or 5000 more crowns doesn't improve the value of the subscription, if anything it devalues it. The things available become an issue of "so what? I have tens of thousands of crowns, why stay subbed to get even more? Nothing I want is coming out."
What subscribers should get:
- Subscriber exclusive flair items
- Subscriber exclusive sub forum
- Subscriber exclusive Q&A with the dev team
- Subscriber exclusive monthly e-pub containing artwork, game lore, and development news
This could be done by diverting the "ESO LIVE" cast to specifically cater to subscribers.
People like to think they're part of something special, and all it takes is catering to that. It's literally that simple.
Personally i don't find eso plus membership very attractive, personally i believe a little more addition could be added to sweeten the deal. my suggestion is:
1) free teleportation (save some time to travel to nearest shrine.)
2) extra bag/bank space- lets say an extra 50 bag space and 100 bank space shouldn't be too much to ask.. right?
As of DLC, i do agree that game company need to make money. but putting all future game content is not good for the health of the game. because once there are too many dlc it discourage people from entering the game. now we have a 60$ bar entry fee, which could potential reach over 200$ with several dlc.. which is more expensive then some of the life time sub. Plus dlc content separate company base, for example i have four friend. one of them is eso plus member with all content, other two have bought some dlc but not all, i been the new player with no dlc together. when we play together we can only do free content, because i don't have any dlc.. and those two friend with dlc might not own the same dlc.. which force that eso plus member friend to play alone or finding other eso member to play with.
IMO the best way to do it is to give most of the update for free, while give eso member extra goodie such as special theme mount/outfit/pet. say we get dark brotherhood release.. a especial version of the DB outfit/shadowmare could be given to eso memeber for free, while normal player have the choice to unlock through crown. Once a year or two there could be an expansion with mass game content for people to buy..
p.s. everything above is just personal opinion, they may not be right or even make sense. Really like the game so far, hoping to contribute slightly through suggestion.. please do bare with me. thanks

Is this the equivalent to asking for free to play? Is that the new trend? Beg for the dlc that hasn't even come yet?

i cancelled subscription just because of the dlc issue.i mean, what's the point? as a member they give u points (crowns )each month, lets say a dlc comes out and u want it, u spend the crowns, but the dlc will be there only as long as u keep the membership.so if i spent 5000 crowns on dlc,and week later i cancelled the sub, i lost the dlc,it's gone..
i much prefer to pay with real money when dlc is out, and then it stays for always.seems better that way.no ?

First, this game is b2p, not f2p.
Second, i just want to be able to play with all my friend~~ or should i ask all my friend to become eso plus member instead? not sure if that work
p.s. you seem very angry? i wonder why.. if you believe everyone who don't sub don't deserve to play, then perhaps the b2p model change already prove that it doesn't workPersonally i don't find eso plus membership very attractive, personally i believe a little more addition could be added to sweeten the deal. my suggestion is:

when you sub you get the equivalent amount of crown that can be used to buy dlc.. so for now it is 15$ per month and you get 15$ worth of crown as well.. so if you want 5000 crown you buy 4 month of sub and you have 4 month of membership and enough crown to buy dlc..
this is why am against putting content in the dlc. they can do an expansion once a year or two.. if they put game content in dlc not only that it separate player base, also for anyone want all dlc, it is still basically a full time sub game.. which will lead to majority of the b2p player base not getting some/all dlc..

yes, but if u cancel the sub after u bought dlc with crowns, than u no longer have access to the dlc.

That is not true fortunately. Once you buy DLC with crowns it is yours to play with or without sub. If you are subbed you could play DLC without using crowns.

i checked it in various places here, once u cancel sub the dlc is gone, youre the first who says the opposite.can someone confirm that ?
