Ports Question
I am unable to log in and I did a search for the error code I got and it looks like I need to open some ports however I'm not quite clear on how to do that, like I know how to get to the ports section of airport utility but then I just don't know which TCP/UDP sections to put the numbers in and I don't know what to do with the private TCP/UDP thing either.

✭✭What error code was it exactly? Did you get it from the Launcher app, or from ESO itself (log-in screen)?
There's a knowledge base article specifying the ports that need to be open on the router. The AirPort Utility has a section called "Port Settings" in the "Network" tab. But please note: this configures unconditional port forwarding of IP packets with matching port numbers from the router to a host within your network, and this shouldn't be necessary at all under normal circumstances (i.e. the router uses NAT, and automatically accepts incoming packets for connections which were opened from the inside).
You could try to temporarily disable the OS X firewall to see if this solves your issue. Go to
Apple Menu > System Preferences... > Security & Privacy > Firewall
open the lock (admin rights needed), then click "Turn off firewall". Note that this is a potential security risk, and it's better to add a permanent exception for either the Launcher or ESO to the Firewall Options.

The fire wall was already off and the error code was 200(7:4:409:597), also the problem I'm having figuring out the ports is where in the port thing am i supposed to put those numbers? I mean for UDP am I supposed to put 24131-24331 and do I just put the same number in the private UDP part as well?0

Do you have any kind of anti-virus software running on your Mac?200 - Authentication Timeout
The authentication service did not respond and may be offline. Please note that this error might be due to your anti-virus software (especially with Avast), we recommend that you disable it temporally.
Regarding the port forwarding settings on your AirPort Utility, create 3 different entries for the 3 ranges accordingly:
The IP address of your computer goes into the field "Private IP Address". You might want to create a DHCP Reservation in the field above for your machine to make sure it always gets the same address, if you haven't done so already.0 -

And right on cue, the Game Consultant tool is broken (mine has a size of zero bytes). Could you try yours? You can find it in the Launcher -- click Settings (cogwheel), then About. Actually, that's good to know!
