How do you play a vampire?

I only tried it once with my nord templar ( it didn't work out to well ) 
But since then I have been thinking I might give it another go with a new character. I see that many use dunmer because of the fire protection, but I was just wondering, how do YOU play your vampire? Maybe I could get some ideas, to try out myself? They seem to be a bit squishy, but I didn't really know what I was doing when the game first came out either, and over the months I have learned a few things or two

LameoveR✭✭✭✭For me, vampire was good on pre-vet levels. Since i hit VR1 i didn't use vapm ult\skills anymore.
But i'm still a vampire and don't want a cure.0
