should ZOS change the Champion System grind to make it quicker?

No, keep the Champion system grind the way it is, 10 years isn't that long to cap it out, in fact some players can do it in less than 3 years by playing ESO full-time 24/7!
Its fine, leave it alone, I don't want it capped, I want to always be earning something and I hope to play this game a long time.

Yes, but do something else not listed here....
If you are a console player and start playing in June then these problems just do not exist. CP won't have to be a grind; you will gain CP just from playing the game. And by then ZoS might have sorted out regular DLC updates, so progression (CP and VR) is enabled simply by playing the content.

Though of course some people will still choose to grind, just to get there a little bit quicker... :)

The issue is MORE dramatic for console. PC characters can be migrated over.

On console, day one, there will be many who are already Max level and deep into the champion point grind creating a progression gap so massive, new comers to ESO playing it for the first time on console cannot ever expect to be competitive in any mode of play. Console players will have to accept from the start that they're over a year behind in progression, with slim chances of ever catching up enough to have a semblance of an even playing field. Console players will load up the game and be staring at an ocean of vertical progression upon which many are far beyond on the visible horizon.

    ...it does not bode well.
