Should Zenimax add full armor previews when crafting.

What you get looks nothing like them and with all the mats you spend you should be able to see what you are getting BEFORE you even bother making something. I've made stuff too many times only to be disappointed with how the finished product looks.
Same with weapons. All this stuff should have a dressing room or something that shows a LARGE, rotating, zoom in type of 3D picture of what you would look like wearing the item so you can really see exactly what it is you are making or buying.My concern can be measured in micro-give-a-craps.0 -

Although - I've also noticed that some of those valueless weapons you can pick up, don't look the same once you start wielding them. But that's a different issue completely.

I don't claim to know precisely how difficult it would be to adapt the Crown Store costume preview code to the crafting stations, but I think it might be worth looking into. its all identical, my vet 1 gear looks identical to what i had back at level 16. identical.
All of the rare motifs are like that. Barbaric, Ancient Elf, Primal, and Daedric look identical at level 1 and VR14, except for the default coloration. The weapons change, but not the armor.
To be honest, I'm okay with these having identical appearances regardless of level, since it does give them a nice reliable appearance. If we had more visual customization... an unlock system like DCUO's where we could reconfigure our appearance to whatever we want? Then, yes, absolutely this should be reconsidered... but without that? I'm fine with these being consistent.
That said, a preview window would be nice.0 -

yesBeing a TES player, it was one of the first issues (yes- issue) I noticed in BETA. I just could not - and more than a year on, still can not, - see what I was working with. Nor were/are there any reliable go-to internet resources; 'eso fashion', for example, not being useful really.

Indeed very insightful to think outside of crafting. I would mention in this directive charge, that perhaps if it costs performance hits, then maybe better thumbnails could be used for those other aspects, keeping the potentially performance draining forge previews... in the forge.
If it is fine, then yeah great idea. a more luxurious game is definitely a more attractive one
