I decided to give this game a second chance, but i cant even log on my main character to see changes because of this ancient bug. Also, sometimes after 5 minute waiting, game kicks me to login screen with this error message: 
<1>

    The infinite loading screen has plagued this game for legit like 5 months. Maybe even more. Can't even remember a time when it didn't. It's getting so old.

    Infinite load screen has prevented me from logging in all day today

    Getting that exact same error right now - haven't had a login problem for the last 13 months, now today i get infinite loading screen and <<1>> error.

    Same here. It's just happening when I try to log in one of my characters in Rawl'kha.

    Thats exactly where my character is that can't log in too - forever load screen. I can log in with my alt character (who is in a starting zone) just fine... but not my main character. I was having this problem last night too, but after 5 or 6 logon attempts I was able to get in. Here is what I noticed.

    When I logged out with this toon last time, I was in Cyrodiil. When I was trying to log in last night and getting the error - based on the loading screen, it was trying to put me into Reapers March (Rawl'kha). Presumably it was doing this because Cyrodiil was full so it was putting me back into my last known location. It kept erroring out or never getting past the load screen trying to do that. When it finally started working (5 or 6 tries later), it put me straight into Cyrodiil (presumably because there was an open spot for me, no que). When i logged out last night - i was in Cyrodiil when I logged.

    Now today - infinite load screen again, cant get logged in - it's trying to load me into Reapers March. The problem is clearly on the server side and has to to with the location it's trying to put me....

    It does seem to spend a lot more time loading than pre 1.6. I think this is more UI load than texture load for some reason.

    No you're talking about something different. Neither the OP or I can get past the loading screen at all... no matter how long we wait.

    After over an hour of trying... multiple "<<1>>" errors, crashes and waiting on the zone load screen for more than 20 minutes - I finally got logged. But, I was placed directly into Cyrodiil.

    Whatever this problem is clearly has to do with where the server is trying to put your character when you log in.

    Grahtwood has infinite load a lot.
