My game graphic's now look just like a console game, BLAH :(

If I wanted my graphic's to look like a console game I would play a console game, this is a PC game dang and PC game's will always rule over any console game.

So dang it stop trying to make this game worse. just who is making these awful choice's ?

maybe he's talking about how they made all the castable skills have this dummy circle that animates on the ground on cast. They basically adjusted all the input to work for a dpad and button interface, and then made the mouse work just like a dpad/ You have a small amount of time to adjust placement as it casts (and can be interupted!).

Now the really pinpoint control we had of our character (immediate weapon swap with no buffer, rebinding movement to the first person perspective re:streak, etc, dpad ground based aoe casting animation) is muddled. Some of it is simply adjustment with the perspective changed, but the animations being interuptable is a balance issue and the responsiveness is definetly a downgrade currently.

This game is now being marketed for consoles, so what do you expect?

You can not upgrade a console to meet the specs of a computer (pc/mac) so you have to dumb down the computer to meet that of consoles. Do you really think ZOS is going to have a programming crew for the computers then another set for each of the two consoles, do you? Will never happen.

So instead they try and hide the fact that the computer version is and has been dumbed down and hoping either you don't notice, don't care or they just try and deny what they are doing.

I played during launch and left. Came back two week ago and I think the game looks a lot better compared to a year ago.

If you look at how everything is now all shinny, your armor reflects all light, the ground flower and just about everything now reflects light and shows up shinny,

This folks is what all console game's look like when played and its terrible.

So why did they make our PC game look like a trashy console game ?

Plus it seems to have doubled the lag everywhere.

Whats that ?

Still better than vanilla Skyrim.

I'm not seeing that. It does some some of the color choices in the dye station now come with more or less shininess, but there are still plenty of choices that don't, especially for light/cloth type armors. I'm not seeing flowers reflecting light in that way either. My fps and lag have been unchanged the last few weeks.

(Playing on all maxed out settings too, except AA which I have off because I play at 4k)

Yes they did and I returned them to my chosen settings, and it still looks like a stupid console game.

I would think the PC players would also notice the similarity?

It also increased the lag everywhere, so whatever ZOS did to change the graphic's didn't work.

For me at least.

Vanilla Skyrim is trash compared to the graphics in ESO. Now, 4k heavily mod'd and graphically overhauled Skyrim is WAY BETTER than Vanilla, but still not on ESO's level.

Also, I have no idea what the OP is going on about. Let's all just back out of here slowly, no sudden movements, just everybody keep calm and chive on.

You know what, when I first played I had my graphics settings on 'high.' Then after leaving for a year and updating to 1.6 when I logged back on the graphics were set to 'low.' Maybe that's the issue here.
