Rune prison + pets = epic fail
ok if this is working as intended tell me now so I can respec. However when I cast rune prison on a mob hoping to take it out of the battle for a while. my pet decides that this is the first person he should attack.
This is very annoying and means both moves can't be used together. Now if this is working as intended then fine but if it's not please hotfix it or something as it's a terrible wow vanilla oversight.

I used a pet just long enough to unlock the skill below it. They were very underwhelming. If they instantly break CC effects like that, that makes them even worse. That has to be an oversight.1 -
LadyChaos✭✭✭✭in most MMOs I've played pets are PITA on launch until they smooth out their CC unfriendly behavior. I'm thinking same thing here as they should not be exclusive abilities, and Pet AI should smarten up to keep the line synergies better. I'm not even a pet wielder on launch, but I saw it in beta and just didn't try to run pet like I did in past MMO. I used pet as the CC rather than the opening spell.. but not a fix, just workaround.

Sorc are not that bad sorry, they are the best aoe magick dps, can be good stamina dps on par with others class, and are really awesome in pvp.1 -
C0pp3rhead✭✭✭✭There is a command pet key. Check your controls and look at your keybinds to figure out which key directs your pet. When you attack a mob outright without commanding your pet, it will attack that target first.

Rune prison looks nice on paper but as soon wind blows it fades away... That explains why it doesn't work for me, hence the "theoretically" in my previous post
