Can we please get a first person Campaign?

t.claudio.usnub18_ESO
Whats the harm in just one first person Campaign for those that want a real challenge, I say why not?

I think it would be fun and put many to the test and bring real immersion to large scale combat like Planet Side 2.

First person on this is not really all that great, I agree it would bring more immersion but situational awareness would be severely lessened hehe, if you want that, play some Battlefield 4 or something.

As much as this topic is as old as the announcement that first person would even be in the game, I find myself really warming to it just now. It would be quite fun to sneak up behind someone and know that unless they look around, they'll have no idea you're there.

That said, restricting UI functions based on your current campaign is, I think, a challenging endeavour. PVP Justice System and Spellcrafting are higher priorities right now.

    Productive. Slow clap for you.
Yes, it's got to be at the bottom of the pile, but I have no idea why this community has to get so frigging snarky when an option is suggested that would have literally zero impact on their game.

I, too, would favor a first person campaign. I enjoy playing in first person in PvP, particularly in large, active battles. It would be fun to play against players with the same perspective as I, with the same limit to FoV.

On a side (but related) note, I have shown more situational awareness in first person as a tank than a semi-ranged dps fully zoomed out. Like, a lot more situational awareness. I had to call dodge times for him during DSA.

I've been playing the game in first person only lately(VR14 and LV25), and it's given me a new level of enjoyment of the game. Things are harder and I find myself actually NEEDING a group in landscape PVE. Once you take out omniscient 3rd person cameras it starts to feel like an elder scrolls game rather than an active RTS based on the elder scrolls games.

I understand that this is a huge turn off for a majority of top tier players, as being the best = more fun, and changing the mechanics, even slightly, sets off that complex. That being said, anyone using FOV mods would gain an IMMENSE advantage in PVP. Nightblades would also reign supreme once more and invisibility potions would become a regular thing. It would also nearly kill solo play, as ganking isn't very effective when you fail to notice the small enemy group that just passed behind you while can-canning like a majestic chorus-line.(altmer dance)

As gamers we're not very accepting of having things beyond our control and liking it, but I'm all for it. I think it would bring a bit of freshness to PVP.

Well said my fellow gamer: )

Who know as long as we players show that we want this maybe, just maybe Zenimax would give us just that, I am sure they see the fun in this and how cool it would be to have a first person only mode in pvp, it would bring life to this game's pvp on so many levels IMO.
