Really zos? You do a million other fixes and hot fixes to stupid crap yet you couldnt even fix enlightenment. CP just needs to be scrapped until this is addressed. Been a week now this is ridiculous. some people have over 250 cp and others cant even get 1 with your broken system

The enlightenment hotfix already went in pre-patch. You should be limited to 1 CP per day of enlightenment accrued.

When it comes to limiting us or rolling us back, they're so fast its crazy. But actually fixing something? Ha. It sucks since in the past week ive had about 30 min of enlightened playable time. The rest of it has been bugged out and slow as dog poo. 400k XP when nothing in the game gives more than what 100 per kill? Pretty sad I can do sanctum and get a whopping 1%! Wooooooo hooooo ill have 1 CP in a month!

Like I said the bug let you get 3 extra per day. They fixed this bug btw no longer can it be done.

Apart from that, I also think that 250 cp is impossible. With such a big number Zenimax would have to do something but they aren't.

I imagine once they figure out how to fix the enlightment issues it will be hotfix worthy. They even stated in the patch notes they're still working on it. I can't imagine them figuring that out and not hotfixing.

My friend did it completely legit like you and he's not a grinder. But he does have permanent enlightenment. After the hot fix came out he confirmed that his enlightenment status remained after earning the first CP.

I think the hot fix applied to people with "semi" working CP systems and maybe patched it so those people went from 4 CP enlightened to 1. However, some folks never had the 4 CP limit.

All I'm asking is for ZOS to do proper testing and maybe even suspend the system until its fair because I can tell you, with the enlightenment bug (mine only shows up in town and never in the outer world), I'm at 71 and that is just sad, granted that it might be 72 if I grinded.

I don't care if people do have over 250. My complaint is people like me are bugged so we get 0 enlightenment. Permanently. In 7 days I have gotten 10 cp. I'm fine with them nerfing grinds and I couldn't care less if people exploit and get permanent enlightenment(like some were and I do have proof) what I care about is them fixing the system so people at least get what they're supposed to. And they clearly dont care. Their priorities are on nerfing us not fixing things they broke.

The being on all the time is simply a display issue with the UI and not actually earning the points. Once he relogs he will lose all those points he thought he had.

He's logged on and off multiple times every day and has no complaints yet. Unless if this supposed UI bug will only show its self at a certain period of time and for some reason, that time just has happened yet for him. Anyways, I don't mean to be combative and I don't think I'll be following this thread anymore because its tiring. It looks like your very sure that the UI bug is the only one out there when clearly I have seen that it is more than a UI error. I'm talking about people I actually know and play with not just random rumors I get on the forums. Maybe you and your friends simply have not encountered this, doesn't mean that you are right.

For someone that apparently did not exploit OR get handicapped by a bugged system, you seem extremely concerned about proving all the complaints are fake. Lets put it this way - your system seems to work fine and everyone you know seems to have a working system as well. Does ZOS fixing some of the issues for other people impact you at all? I'm telling you again, that I have a completely bugged out CS system and in 5 days of playing I got about 1.5 CPs because I have no enlightenment. My friend has 10+ CP and we looked together that after the hot fix, his EL didn't expire after getting 1 CP. He has also logged on and off so I'm sure its not a UI issue. These are facts and real observations - not some random rumors I'm feeding. You think we all rather complain here instead of playing just because its fun to spread rumors.

Why do you even care, it appears your system is working as intended.

Anyways, you gotta assume most of the people crying here are people that had no enlightenment whatsoever and are at low 70 CP. We're complaining about the people with 100 CP who CLEARLY had benefited from the enlightenment bugs. 250 is extreme and I call bull *** as well. However, even if we're talking about 90 or 100, that's unfair. Why should some of the population get easy mode? Why should some of the population get hard mode (aka no enlightenment at all or enlightenment that fades after wayshrine use).

People were crying the first few weeks of the game when bugs that lasted a few days caused people to progress through cadwell silver and gold slower. 20-30 CP is not something you can get in 2-3 days.

I have earned 10 cp so far. The thing about this bug was nothing you did caused it. You just played the game. I personally dont grind mobs I just play the game. I assume grinding I could have gotten more than 10. The character was fresh vr1 when the patch came out. Now vr2 almost vr3 and 80 cp total. 70 from zos at launch then 10 earned.

And that I completely agree! I don't for one second think people should get their points removed because its a bug and not the players fault. My friend did it completely legit like you and he's not a grinder. But he does have permanent enlightenment. After the hot fix came out he confirmed that his enlightenment status remained after earning the first CP.

I think the hot fix applied to people with "semi" working CP systems and maybe patched it so those people went from 4 CP enlightened to 1. However, some folks never had the 4 CP limit.

As you are suggesting, 250 CP is pretty bogus, but 90 or 100 is still unfair. All I'm asking is for ZOS to do proper testing and maybe even suspend the system until its fair because I can tell you, with the enlightenment bug (mine only shows up in town and never in the outer world), I'm at 71 and that is just sad, granted that it might be 72 if I grinded.

His "perm" enlightenment is only a display bug. I bet he complains about losing points when he logs out too eh?

So far no complaints. Its just been "on" all the time and is truly at an enlightened speed.

The being on all the time is simply a display issue with the UI and not actually earning the points. Once he relogs he will lose all those points he thought he had.

He's logged on and off multiple times every day and has no complaints yet. Unless if this supposed UI bug will only show its self at a certain period of time and for some reason, that time just has happened yet for him. Anyways, I don't mean to be combative and I don't think I'll be following this thread anymore because its tiring. It looks like your very sure that the UI bug is the only one out there when clearly I have seen that it is more than a UI error. I'm talking about people I actually know and play with not just random rumors I get on the forums. Maybe you and your friends simply have not encountered this, doesn't mean that you are right.

For someone that apparently did not exploit OR get handicapped by a bugged system, you seem extremely concerned about proving all the complaints are fake. Lets put it this way - your system seems to work fine and everyone you know seems to have a working system as well. Does ZOS fixing some of the issues for other people impact you at all? I'm telling you again, that I have a completely bugged out CS system and in 5 days of playing I got about 1.5 CPs because I have no enlightenment. My friend has 10+ CP and we looked together that after the hot fix, his EL didn't expire after getting 1 CP. He has also logged on and off so I'm sure its not a UI issue. These are facts and real observations - not some random rumors I'm feeding. You think we all rather complain here instead of playing just because its fun to spread rumors.

Why do you even care, it appears your system is working as intended. I said I didn't want to be combative but if your going to throw out accusations about me lying then so be it. I don't get a high out of spreading rumors (I'm just hear to report actual problems; you see my throwing out claims that people have 50000000 CP?) but you seem to enjoy this a little too much.

Hello folks,

As we mentioned in the patch notes, we are working on addressing issues with Enlightenment. Additionally, as discussed in this comment, we are finding that there are currently no players with more then 150 champion points.
We are now closing this thread per our Forum Code of Conduct as we do not allow threads for spreading misinformation or trolling.
