Magelight Toggle In Video Settings

Has anyone else been having problems with this function not working properly? The light displays whether or not I have it toggled on or off.

✭✭There's also a bug where the orb from Magelight doesn't even show most of the time even when you have the option to show it toggled on.
I have to remove all skills from my skillbar, then re-equip Magelight in order for the orb to show up.0 -

✭I also get this bug with radiant magelight. It more often than not does not show up even though it is turned on in settings. It still works though (and to be honest I prefer it not showing as that fat glowing orb is rather annoying sometimes!""If a stick of fish is a fish stick, it will stick like other fish sticks stick"

✭This is one bug I am actually happy about since I hate the silly ball rolling around.... but yes, have had the same thing happen last I logged in and toggled Inner Light, I was glowing but no ball floating around... I was in bliss, lol2 -

✭✭✭I have the notifications turned off from guild messages and still get those annoying pop-ups.
I do have a question about turning magelight on/off. Can enemy factions also then not see it? Because sometimes it can give away a not completely stealthed enemy because you see his orb. So if you turn it off it gives some kind of advantage. Or is only client side on you own character?|٩(͡๏̯͡๏)۶

pls @zos this is serious.
i get massive headache from this bright ball of light.
it gets worse when i join a raid and see like 8 other balls of light swirling around.
cant afford loosing my dinner, everytime i raid for half an hour.
if my setting says "turned off" it has to be turned off, other players magelights too.
fix this asap.

tengri✭✭✭✭✭You can not turn off that rotating magelight orb, ever.
That toggle you mentioned does only reduce the light this blue orb is emitting to gain a (very tiny) performance boost.
For a really loooooong time there was a bug around that actually made the rotating orb not show and ppl erroneously credited that to said toggle - that has been "fixed" these days.
The orb is here to stay, always.0
