Broken Greenshade Quests (Unable to Complete normally due to current problem in Greenshade)

I'm going to make a list of quests in Greenshade that are currently unable to be completed due to the problem in Greenshade. I can't account for quests that aren't showing up in the world due to phasing.

Greenshade Main Story:
  • Retaking The Pass *Greenshade Main Story*: Quest doesn't advance after placing skulls on the alter. Leave the area and can advance it when you come back, but Indaenir becomes a follower to close the shadow rifts and becomes static. Go to the rifts and they will close without Indaenir there. Quest works normally from there.
  • The Blight of the Bosmer *Greenshade Main Story* *Verrant Morass Area*: You can do everything up to and including killing the Shade of Naemon. After that you can’t go back and talk to Indaenir where you originally found him as you have already if you’ve gotten this far. That Indaenir is still registered as a follower. *If you leave the Verrant Morass area after killing the Shade of Naemon (Indaenir will complain) and return to where he is supposed to be, he will be there and you can complete the quest.*
  • Dread Vullain Objective *Greenshade Main Story* I can't remember the quest name It's more of the same with this one. Once you watch all of the stories while you make your way up the hill and get to the cave at the top, you'll have to run all the way down to the bottom again to talk to Indaenir. Then you'll have to head back up and clear out the cave to get the bow. Cave works normal.

Side Quests:
  • Handmade Guardian: Guardian will not follow to attack other guardians
  • Stone Cold: Indanas will not follow to close Hollow Man holes
  • Beasts of Falinesti: Pariel is locked with low health and cannot be “subdued”
  • Manthir's Debt: If you choose the "nice" way to do it and don't threaten to beat Manthir to a pulp if he doesn't just give you the money, Farwen will get stuck at the top of the ramp. Leaving the area / Relogging doesn't fix the problem.

I will continue to edit this post as I find more. I haven't tried to move on to the next area without completing the Greenshade / Naemon's Shade story..

    Thank you for compiling this. I hope they can sort this out soon. This is by far the most game breaking issue I have encountered in this game since launch.

    Entire Greenshade is broken. Not a single hostile NPC wants to move - even when i get into aggro range, they just look at me, sometimes even throw in a heavy attack from afar (still standing in place, looking at me). Which is I guess causing these quests to fail (Homemade Guardian for sure, he just does not move)

    Only exceptions are "inside" instances ( caves, delves etc.)

    Thanks @ZOS_PierreL . We know you all are working on it. I just wanted to make this thread to help others out in the meantime with what quests I was able to get through and which ones were dead in the water until the issue is resolved.

    same problems for me. Some skills aren't working in Greenshade (works perfectly in
    other areas). So a little question to @ZOS_PierreL : I've opened two tickets (guardian quest
    and not working skills) so why your support is asking me silly questions if you are aware of
    the problem? I don't understand.... (support answers from today...).

    There is no point in putting in tickets when its the whole zone. It'll be fixed soon.

    While I agree putting in tickets for this issue is probably not necessary, I am not so confident on it being fixed soon as it has been days now. Hopefully it will get addressed with tomorrow's patch but even that is unsure at this point. ZOS has given us no information other than that they are investigating this.

    What information would you like them to give? Until they pinpoint whats wrong all they can say is they are looking into it.

    I am not expecting them to provide any more information till they have it. My point was simply that with the only information being that they are investigating, there is no information to indicate it will be fixed soon.
