How do you feel about the 1.6 changes to Redguard and Orc armour?

So there are already a couple of threads discussing the changes that have been made to the Redguard and Orc armour styles for 1.6, but I thought it would be nice to have a poll to see how many people like the changes and how many people don't like them. If you like some changes, but dislike others, go with whichever answer most closely matches how you feel about the changes as a whole. I've intentionally left no neutral response to the poll. If you don't care one way or the other, or if your like of some changes is balanced out evenly with your dislike of others, just don't vote.

Personally I don't like the changes. The changes to the Orc motif don't bother me that much (although I slightly prefer the old Orc heavy armour, I do like some elements of the changes they've made). The changes to the Redguard heavy armour don't bother me much either - in fact I might like the new heavy a little more. I really dislike the changes to the Redguard light armour though. The old look had so much more swashbuckling character to it. The new look is bland to me, and seems closer to something a Breton would wear than a daring Redguard out of Stros M'kai or Al'Akir.

Still bitter over the pointless change to the Orsimer heavy, but the redguard light is sooooo bad now. From cultural wraps to a generically ugly tunic + skirt. 10 steps backwards on this redesign, not only is the basic design generic now, but it's uglier than most of the other tunics now too.

I'm so sad and disapointed about the changes made to the light and medium armor of the Redguard than I clearly state: I don't like the changes.

I'm also a little bit upset that Zenimax only pick up questions of people enjoying the changes for the Q&A, while there was plenty of questions that illustrate better how the majority of poeple are actually NOT liking the changes. While not a lie this was completely biased towards something not representative of the reality of things!
I even asked a question that was intently formulated in a positive way, to have all my chances to see it answered (I really enjoyed the old style, can we hope to see it asa costume in the cash shop or as a different motifs)

The old light and medium armor for the Redguard were looking awesome! It was seducive, mysterious, exotic, original and creative. The new light armor are plain and boring. It's honnestly a ugly nightdress.

THIS. ^^ I feel selecting that question and their answer was a bit disingenuous. They know darn well that a lot of folks are very UNHAPPY with the change to Redguard Light armor. And they glossed right over it instead of addressing it. Disappointing.

Well guys, we did our best. Here we are, one day before the launch of 1.6 and it looks like despite the fact that only 22% of this sample actually want this change to take place, we're in for a removal of some of our favorite armor styles. I'd like to take a quick look back at some of our valiant attempts to prevent this from occurring:

    ESO Hides My Cleavage
Redguard Female Light. I think the new is just boring and terrible.

I guess up next is trying to get these old styles added back into the game through the crown store, followed by trying to get them to add color dyeing to the collection costumes.

My char will have a hard time moving around with the new armor, she picked it to be able to move faster and dodge the attacks quicker and not to give males a look on her breasts.
In future her breasts are covered, but so is her ability to play a tiny & squishy hero, with a fitting clothing line. Sure you may say, nothing really changes, but for people who look for immersion and realism in a game, the change was bad.

And no we don't need half naked costumes either, just keep what we had and add more motifs that fit the different roles of our characters.

We should be allowed to pick light armor for what it is, a light cover of the chars body, while medium protects a bit more, with heavy being fully covered.

I find it a pity that so many games become unrealistic due design choices that are just not understandable to a Roleplayer.

We are allowed to run around without armor, nude only covered by a skin - yet they patch out light armor pieces, its not making sense, I am sorry ZO. :(

What have you guys done to the armour i hate it.I am so disappointed it's starting to feel like ESO is now providing very limited options for a woman to feel feminine, not that we had many options to start with but now you have gone and removed all but one. I am not saying i want super slutty outfits, but there is nothing wrong with showing a little skin. I know there will be costumes available in the crown store but we wont be able to dye them or make them are own so whats the point. We need alot more options! I get some people say cover up and i say to them each to their own but at least give us the option to do either.I have spoken to many of the women in my guild and they are in agreement.
I really hope you listen to the many players who are unhappy with these changes cause with the whole buy to play coming in shortly i suspect I will be rethinking whether or not to continue my subscription.Apart from that the game is fantastic and I love it.

In the beginning from the pictures, I didn't mind a couple of the changes. Now I've actually had a chance to look at them in game, I've changed my mind. They're absolutely hideous.

I'm sorry, but to take the beautiful, unique look of the Redguard style, and change it to what looks like the same cookie cutter style as many of the others with barely anything to distinguish it as unique to Redguard is a horrible move. You haven't improved it at all I don't think, you've just destroyed the entire style and taken away something that was really quite different than most of the other armours.

    Definitely this.
I would really love to see the original styles returned rather than put my characters into these shapeless sacks.
This pretty much removes two crafting styles from my characters wardrobes, as I couldn't bear to look at them running around in these now ugly styles

Oh Daedra bless it. The redguard heavy armor boots are clunky and dorky. The Heavy armor pants, as well as the medium curiass and pants are both ill fitting and ... well dorky for lack of a better word.

Now granted, I was NOT really a fan of the old redguard medium. Here it is on my gal as she meets the menagerie. Took me quite a while to find a dye job that worked for me:

HATE. IT. Just logged in for the first time and had left my main wearing the Redguard Sea Drake disguise (literally one of the few things I had left to wear); now also transformed into one big hessian sack full of ugly. Not only that but anyone with a passing visual sense can see that the design is completely out – that banded detail on the chest literally flattens out the female form almost completely. Cover up the ****. Hide the ****. RIP ****. Disturbingly puritanical and I don't appreciate it one little bit.

    Give me my **** back.

I cancelled my account because of the changes to Redguard heavy armor. Normally I wouldn't take such drastic action over something like that, but the graphics/aesthetics/etc. of this game was the only thing keeping me going, even more so now in 1.6 given that we won't be getting any new content for half a year. With that gone, I saw no reason to keep paying.

Offer both armors or fix the Redguard heavy armor pants (they are not heavy armor, they are leather for some reason) and I'll come back.

They could have just put costume versions of the armor in the store and kept the armor versions as they were. I have seen this done with other games very effectively.
