I thought crafted gear was supposed to be better?

Why does my enhancement only have 1116 and the pvp one has 1860? Something wrong with the description?

I bought the gold weapon glyph from someone and used it on my purple battleaxe.

PvP rewards have stronger enchantments than everything in the game. Been that way since forever.

The crafted weapon is different than the enchantment, and the crafted weapon is stronger; title is a little misleading.

But you can see the enchantment before you put it on regardless.

I would prefer it if drops/rewards were stronger but didn't form part of a set - so while you benefit from an OP reward you do have to give up something in exchange.

In fact I think the whole "crafted gear best in the game" issue could be solved by increasing the strength of drops but having sets only available through crafting.

On the plus side, in your case you can craft a VR14 weapon that does greater damage and it forms part of a set that gives greater critical and a big boost to stamina.

Hunding's Rage is probably Exhibit A for the strength of crafting sets. It's fantastic. I wish there were crafted equivalent for magicka builds :)

It usually is. The Hunding Rage set is probably the best set in the game for stamina DPS users.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

And it also depends on what kind of glyph was used to give the Hundings axe it's Crusher enchantment. Was it a white level (Ta) glyph, or a gold level glyph using a Kuta? That can make a big difference on the strength of the enchantment.

Says right in the OP he used a gold level glyph.
