Pink walls... Really, what is going on here?
So, after patching for a few hours the other day and being excited to test out 1.6.5, I see this... pink, BRIGHT pink, walls. What happened to my textures? Adjusting graphics settings in game makes no difference. No change to my computer... just the patch. And bam, eyeball explosions.
Please advise.

Kragorn✭✭✭✭✭Seems possible it's a variant of the "Data Load Error" we've suffered in the past, maybe ZOS just took out the error dialog and left the big pink blocks in place.
Try repair? Not expecting it to work, many Error 209s and other launcher 'issues' that clearly indicate a broken patch aren't fixed by Repair but, who knows.0 -
I had this issue 1st time I played the game. (1.5 version)
Using the repair function in the launcher will solve it as first, but once I exit the game. It will come back. Thus will need to repair again. Waste of time.
But I found a solution:
All I did was simply not open Steam and the Eso launcher.
Run the game using the eso.exe

A pink texture generally indicates that something is either missing or corrupted, and can usually be fixed by running a repair. To do this, close the game and open up the launcher. Above the news articles, select Game Options and then choose Repair. Once the process completes, launch the game and let us know if it's fixed!0
