I would agree, only way they are getting 600k+ an hour is by doing something they should not be doing. However, there is no evidence they are getting that much, so yea...

There has been a pretty major XP nerf. When I was leveling VR1-VR14, I would run Seeker's Archive every day and get about 2.5% of my next VR level for each run. So, when making the jump from VR13 to VR14, it got me about 27K XP per run. Yesterday I did the run and I only got 5K XP. So, it is only getting 1/5 of the experience it did before. There is an XP nerf.

i was averaging 200 xp a kill. 1K mobs are needed to be killed to get to 200K.

Thats some impressive mob killing, just so we are clear thats 16 mobs a minute!

Take my numbers and assume 400xp a kill thats still 8 mobs every minute, still impressive!

If you're only getting 200 xp per kill then you're doing it wrong.

By all means, share this knowledge with the community. You say you can get 600k an hour, without a shred of evidence, what are you doing to achieve this?

A few members from a prominent closed beta guild have allegedly been able to even achieve a point every half hour while not enlightened. 648k xp per hour is nothing compared to that figure.

I would like you to see this from my perspective. I have absolutely no interest in grinding xp to accrue champion points so why would I share my information that would basically assure that I have to grind to stay competitive?

That's like training North Korea how to build nuclear weapons more efficiently for them to use against us. Well, probably not that intensive of a situation but you see my point.

But yea, I'm going to call out that "prominent closed beta guild." There's no way they are getting CP that fast.

You can link all the videos you like however I do believe this guy. He's been a beneficial member of the community for well nearly 2 years now and has been pretty spot on with pretty much everything.

It would certainly not be the first time in this game's lifespan that someone accused another person or group of doing something shady when in reality it wasn't shady at all.

Im glad others are happy with how it is today. Im not end off and im out of this conversation.

I can't believe we are even debating that grinding mobs at 300K an hour is the way this game should be played! The fact we are even debating this proves to me, that I and others have totally lost perspective around why we are all here which I thought was to have fun.

Grinding is not fun for me thus i will play this game on the side when board but competitive gameplay (PVP and raid runs) is all but out the window for me which has what has kept me here. I simply don't have the time to invest to keep up.

Well done to the 5% of the player base who can play ESO for crazy hours (6+ hours a day). They can enjoy this game between themselves.

I don't know why anyone is surprised. It was clear to me after about a week of PTS testing that the majority of characters/builds were weaker after 1.6 and 70cp wasn't near enough points to return to a similar power level.

Not once did I ever hear or see anyone request for nerfs to health formulas, jewelry, enchants, ultimate gain, or others things yet It happened and players assumed that ZO$ would make it easy to regain those stats/capability? 1.6 changes nothing in terms of balance and certainly not content. All it did is effectively wipe a large number of builds while instilling a progression grindwall that arguably isn't even rewarding.

That is my point man, other than crazy grinding people can not legitimately gain CPs in the same manner as other options. As a heavy PvPer this really makes me mad cause I do not want to PvE to have to stay on a competitive level. I want to PvP and get the same XP for my time. They need to address this soon...

The reason the XP needed for CPs is so absurdly high is so you will buy enlightenment pots in the cash store.

This is one of the things that just comes with a F2P/B2P game, and a BIG reason why a lot of us were so against the conversion.

I'm glad I got 70cp from the start. By the time I get to 80 in Cyrodil I'll probably just be too bored to log in.

AoE grind.Nothing more.It's easy for me since i play Lineage 2 and i know what means grind.
Before patch i got 13 298 achievements.If achievements will be rewarded with CP i'm also will be glad

It's one million for a single VR level (and many people complain that is too much - despite the massive nerf).

It's 400K for a single CP! Just one CP, what's that going to get you?

That rate of 400K per CP means people entering the veteran ranks now will 35 CP when they reach VR14 - just over 10 per branch!

You might have questing to get you there, but I imagine a lot of people who expected to be "competitive" when they reached VR1 will be sorely disappointed when they aren't that competitive at VR14.

And you know there's a problem when people who are getting good rates of XP are too scared to say where and how just in case ZOS nerf it!

With my V1 character i have done a few quests ,finished a dolmen then i won 59 CP points. CP xp 51k/400k.

Not true, i am getting 540k per hour without enlightment and i am not doing anything i shouldn't be.
All you got to do is find a high vet area to grind that isnt in craglorn

Took me around 8 hours to gain 1 champion point on my vr14. Going to take a lot of game play time to earn each point. Such is life. Until new zones or the likes are released, there is little to be done in my case.

Dang. Those areas are instanced too, so no noobs to mess with. Too bad they were nerfed. I'll have to check them out and see how good they are. If they are still on par with Spellscar, they will be better simply because there will be no one there.
