Some addons or even other actions can cause this boot. If you craft/refine things too fast or if you edit roster notes too often or just have an addon conflict, it can all lead to a boot for spamming. Check to see if it's any of these things.

As mentioned by @redspecter23, most of the time this is due to back end messages as opposed to ones sent through the chat box. If you have any add ons running, it's possible that they are out of date and causing the error. Let us know if disabling them helps out!

I never use add-ons and I still see these, such as doing one of the Bangkorai story instances yesterday (the one where you direct mage spam from the 'observation point' simply repeatedly pressing F4 in a desperate attempt to get the game client to respond to it!

I've also been kicked when my character got stuck in the scenery and the game client seemed to be continually to get the server to move, after 15 secs or so I got kicked. It was so bad that logging back in I got kicked before I was able to get /stuck to activate several times before I managed to recover.

So no, add-ons are certainly not the only reason this can happen, the game client is perfectly capable of spamming all on its own .. it's fatuous for the server to kick you off with an error clearly saying YOU were spamming, the message says CHAT somewhere in the text IIRC.

Thanks for the replies everyone, I disabled the Loot naming mod and I haven't experienced it since.
