Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've turned all add on's off
I've reset the audio to default
My speakers do work as I can hear sound if I play the cinematic thingy
I've re-launched my game more than 5 times now and still nothing

My launcher is refusing to work atm, getting that stupid patch manifest error and it won't repair. But I had downloaded the entire patch before the launcher froze my entire computer so I'm able to skip the launcher and play the game. But the lack of sound is killing me.

This is game breaking and until I can get some help I literally can't do anything as I can't hear anything.

Make sure you run the launcher as admin. If it doesn't let you repair, try deleting the launcher folder in the game installation path (should be in the Live or LiveEU folder) and re-download it from your account site. Then run a repair

Didn't actually know that could be done so I just tried that as it didn't work. Still getting that bloody patch manifest error.

I submitted a support ticket, but my hopes right now aren't that high for a fix that doesn't involve re-downloading the entire game. I refuse to do that.
