Do I get 70 Champion points when i have a V14?

Headline says it - Im not sure how much it takes to get the 70 champion points? is 1 lvl v14 enough? or do i need 2?

    1 vr14 that has collected 1 million exp since became vr14

    You get 1 CP for every 200K XP earned on all VR1+ characters (eg. one who just hit VR2 gets 5), so it can be one VR14 or any combination of characters/levels up to the cap of 70; the cap of 70 is simply the CPs a character earns reaching VR14.

    Once U6 lands it'll be 400k XP per CP.

    Doesnt that mean waiting for 1.6 to farm exp is bad since it'll take double the time ?

    This is where people might get confused. Since you haven't "reached" Vr14 until you have filled the exp in it.

    Vr1=0
    Vr2=5
    Vr3=10
    Vr4=15
    Vr5=20
    Vr6=25
    Vr7=30
    Vr8=35
    Vr9=40
    Vr10=45
    Vr11=50
    Vr12=55
    Vr13=60
    Vr14=65
    "Vr15"=70

    Does a second char lvl 50 Count when i have a v14?

    How much xp is lvl 50?

    I have a V14, and im leveling an alt, that will hit 50 around next week.

    Towards conversion no. But once system is live it will be most likely easier to gain exp to gain cp leveling the lvl 50(vr1) than doing dailies, dungeons, etc with the vr14.

    You start acquiring CP after level 50 so all XP before that won't count towards your CP gain.

    v1 with a mill xp is v2 :) All veteran levels are 1mil exp.

    Like the "table" I did shows. You'll need just dinged vr14 and just dinged vr2 or vr14 that has collected enough exp to be vr15 (1million) or you could go with 2xVr8 or Vr8+Vr6+Vr4.

    If any of you loves math, then just sum up all your Veteran Ranks on all your characters, subtract the number of Veteran Rank characters and multiply the result by 5. If that number is 70 or higher, you'll get all 70 points. If it's lower, then you might get those points and possibly a few more (for partial levels not considered).

    Yeah you are looking at a target of 14 million veteran XP earned to get 70CP (200k for each CP). If you have that even if it's spread out among 8 characters you'll hit the max.

    Accordingly, use this...

    script /script d(GetUnitXP("player"))

    ...in chat to see how many XP you have because if you Hit V14, you will not be able to see how much extra XP you have earned from the UI as it keeps reseting back to 1000000 when you change zones or log out.

    If you have more than 15 mill XP on your V14 character after running the script, assuming it is the only Veteran ranked character you have, then you will definately get 70 CP.

    I had over 15 mill XP on my main which is my only veteran character and on the last character copy I recieved my full 70 CP on PTS.

    I hit v14 and v2 this weekend on my 2 chars, so im good.
    But nice info thread to others who are in doubt.

    Well... hopefully I'm at 70 CP then, I only have 1 VR14 and I think I should be good, but seeing as I can't check to see how much I have total well... yeah... I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

    You can simplify that a lot by adjusting the formula a bit:
    /script d(GetUnitXP("player") / 200000)

    This will print you the exact number of points you'll earn with your current character assuming he's at least VR1. The remainder (i.e. everything behind the decimal point), will add up with other characters as far as I'm aware.
