I was reading about ESO on Wikipedia and read vet levels are removed soon?

At the bottom:
"and the fourth and final phase is to be rolled out in March 2015 which will remove Veteran Levels entirely, readjusting the maximum level in the game to 50."

Dont know about march but i understand that there is a plan to revamp the lvl system. remove vr and adjust everything

Yeah, a couple of ESO Lives ago; they said they still plan to remove them, but it wont be until after the console release.

That was the plan. If last year of our ESO adventure taught us anything, it's that all plans are subject to change at any moment. So don't get excited/worried just yet.

they are releasing vet levels to consoles, and they haven't really spoken about removing them for the last 2 months.
My guess is they wont remove them anymore, since that would require way to much work now. Remember from now on everything will have to be released for all platforms. That means longer between any kind of major updates and removing 13 veteran levels, will require so much work and rework on the whole game design now.

Also the new champion point system first kicks in when you are vr1

no no, lots of content after lvl 50

two more quest zones, craglorn group zones, trials, dungeon pledges and new update comes with more fun, only named pve content here

At some point in time, L50 will be the max and Champion points will be process after (instead of vet levels)
BUT the devs are having a hard time working out what to do with all the current items that are V1-V14

So we will not see any change to the vet system until at least patch 1.7 as they do not have a clear picture of how they want it to go.

And in the end it could mean, that we end with level 64 instead of VR14. Just for integrating everything into XP again rather than Veteran Points. This would work together with the XP based CP system.

In this case they wouldn't have to rebalance anything. But maybe they find something else in the future. And besides of spreading rumors I don't know which solution they might find next month

I think that they would like to do Champion phase 4 but they have run out of time before console. I think that Update 6 has run over schedule by more than one week and they are already pressed. Getting rid of Veteran Ranks is too much.

They might be considering keeping them around, but if they are not, my money is on the first Update after Console release.
