Why does my game crash since I added a 5th guild?

I joined my 5th guild today and since that everytime I try to enter the guild screen of that specific guild my game and desktop freezes completely. Entering the screens of my other guilds doesn't do this...

Has this ever happened to someone else? How can I fix this?

This is a known issue with some specific guilds. Can't quite remember the names of the guilds though. Twilight Market? And Schildwacht something.

Change your client language and leave the guild, or let someone kick you. I don't think there is a way for you to stay in the guild and play normally

Noone knows really. There are rumors that the guild leader changed his client's language and this caused the guild to be bugged. It seems to be caused by some language mismatch in the guild roster which the game can't handle. By changing your language you can at least access the roster to leave it.

Yes, it was Twilight Market! Ok, I will try to quit the guild then. Thanks @Glierhuin!

But why does it happen with those specific guilds? How does changing the language help?

    Ah, ok. That makes sense!

I am german, so I can read everthing, if I change to the german UI. Thanks for the offer though! And thanks a lot for helping me out on this one! :)

I guess this has been resolved for the OP, but in case anyone else suffers the same and would prefer to stay in the guild, I wrote a little add-on to prevent freezing: Fix Twilight Market

As for the original change language & leave "solution", you don't have to change it in the launcher and download a patch as suggested by ZOS in another topic. All you have to do is edit your UserSettings.txt, find this line:
    SET Language.2 "en"

Change "en" to "de" or "fr", save, start game, leave guild, quit game, change back to "en", save, done.
