    Yup, ZoS should just rename sorcerers to Togglemancers. It is a great name.

    Pity that togglemancers won't be accepted in trials though as the pets still bring more problems than benefits.

    Actually, I'm going to respec my vr14 sorc to exclusively be my thief in 1.6 because bolt escape gives her a decent chance to flee the guards when she gets caught. I'm going to put her in black medium armor for the sneak boost and put CP into anything that helps her sneak, move fast, etc. I want to finish Cadwell's silver/gold with her so, if necessary, I'll figure out whatever helps give her some DPS from the weapons, guild and other non sorc skill trees. Whatever it takes to make her capable of earning CP while stealing and murdering her way through Tamriel.

    My main is and always has been a Templar, through all the months they were considered the weakest class in the game. So I'm looking forward to being really powerful with her for a change.

    I want to Rune Prison a boss mob --> all my pets start attacking EXACTLY the mob I wanted to CC. Great.

    I said it was viable, not optimal. Clearly, Overload is the damage dealer with this build. The Clannfear and Twilight do a moderate amount of damage; they are used to keep one enemy busy. Think of them as dynamic crowd control.

    For example, I was fighting the giant and mammoth boss east of Riften. They kept the giant occupied while I played tag with the mammoth. I started this fight without any ultimate, so I used my restoration staff. Once Overload kicked in, the mammoth went down very fast. When I turned on the giant, he was about half his health. He too went down very fast from the Overload light attacks.

    this tested it at the gargoyle with a group of melees just out of curiosity - we died due to the pets suck upto much heals in the earthquake phase :disappointed:

    If you're not using pet commands, they go after the first enemy you attack. Doesn't matter whether it's Rune Prison or Crystal Shard.

    well would be great if they would work reliably - if they draw aggro from any add mob they tend to go completly berzerk and jump through your enemys randomly breaking every cc possible completly ignoring the target you told them to attack or your own target :P
    not to mention that you can´t tell them a target befor the fight starts or as a fight opner to not draw all enemys attention by yourself initially.

    Is this from live or PTS? I've been testing on the PTS, and they usually stay fixed on the first enemy I attack. On fights with multiple bosses, one or both will sometimes switch to the boss I'm attacking if I've been attacking them for a while. This happened at Giant Camp and Troll Cave in The Rift. I haven't experienced this when fighting trash. Those fights are over too soon.

    I want to be repeat what I said earlier. This build is not optimal, but it is viable. If you want to play as a Togglemancer, then have at it. Just don't expect to take on 6+ at a time, run trials, or be effective in Cyrodiil.

    I tried it this morning replacing the Guard toggle with Daedric Prey on one bar and Empowered Ward on the other. Hit the ward, switch bars, curse, then staff or Overload if you have ultimate. Giant Camp east of Riften was easy. Troll Cave was a bit hard. Without any good self heals, I kept spamming Empowered Ward and restoration staff heavy attacks. I have to say the Clannfear can take a LOT of punishment. Too bad the Twilight Matriarch couldn't heal him as well.

    The Togglemancer using Deadric Prey and Empowered Ward--one on each bar--is completely viable for solo and some group content. Don't expect to run trials or be effective in Cyrodiil with this build.

    This was definitely what sorcerers have been waiting for since launch. We wanted to be as powerful as dragonknights who could roll their faces on their keyboards and win.

    Well now we sorcs will also have an extra hand to better access Doritos and Mt. Dew while gaming!!!!

    Take that dragonknights!


    Edit: Make it so the intercepted projectiles hit pets instead and this build would have some potential. xD
