The maintenance is complete, and the PTS is now back online and patch 12.1.4 is available.

So, PTS'ers... How are the "Fixes" to Cloak Working?

    Bugged them both, but have pretty much given up. I'm sure any bug reports with 'cloak' in the description get auto sent to the trash bin.

    There's been no change OP. Charges and projectiles still break cloak.

    Nightmeat is good for one thing... Filling other peoples quests up in cyrodiil. :D

    No risk of having repercussions when writing anything about cloak, break all the forum rules but add cloak to the start of the post and they will just ignore it.

    Still buggy as ever and always hit or miss. I can use it to dodge a crystal frag, and be successful, only to have it fail the second time. It's annoying.

    Good news though......they DID "fix" cloak so that it intentionally breaks on steal (but yet Invisibility pots don't) :neutral:

    Oh as consecutive castings of cloak cause our transparent effect to be removed. :smiley:

    yup.

    let it be known to all: invisibility potions are better than the ability itself.

    I advice y'all to only use cloak for its dark cloak morph; removing DoTs. using it for stealth is impossible, and it seems ZOS is fit to keep it that way.

    So, use dark cloak for DoT removal, and use the invisibility potion when you want to actually sneak and be stealthy.

    May as well get started as soon as I get on tomorrow.. wonder how much invisibility potions cost.....

    That new DK fireball skill is going to be fun for Nightblades.

    In my tests, as long as I either attacked a NB, or they attacked me (i.e. in combat), the fireball would fire at any stealthed NB within 15 meters of me.

    I didn't even have to be looking in their direction, but fireball knew exactly where to go. It's a perfect skill for DKs who traditionally haven't had to tab target or aim. Very in line for the class. Its like a NB finding autosentry gun! :D

    I'm glad to see ZOS actually reply to the Shadow Cloak fiasco, but sadly it seems they're more interested in who/what should be affected by the stun and not the actual problem. Hopefully it will draw their attention to the real issue.
