Because we all know from the incredibly friendly community in the biggest MMO in the world that Achievements are a clear indicator of a skillful player .. just like GearScore .. and the only reason you're told to link your "'chieves" is because the group leader in genuinely interested in what you've done in game and there's no chance you'll be /kick-ed if your achievement total doesn't meet a threshold, no sir!Keepercraft wrote: »That will be good option, to inspect player Achievements or post your own Account sum Achievements on the Web/Forum.
Well, if anything this game seems like it has a lot of players who want to be carried through hard content? Or why are people worried about getting kicked from groups exactly? I mean, I've been kicked from Trial groups because people are idiots.. like I once decided to join a PUG back when my DK was just newly leveled and I didn't have the achievement on that character. I told them, well, you can check my main and my position on the leaderboard but I'm not going to bother relogging to link it.. kicked. But really, did I mind being kicked by a group of morons? Nah, I'm happier not having to carry them because it's more than likely they themselves are crap and thus need to vet everyone else to even get through it. I've seen people try and PUG for SO and linking their UNCOMPLETED achievements just hoping no one will check.. that stupidity is already here and inspect will neither make it worse nor better, because stupid people are stupid and they will always exist.
I'd like inspect just because it would help me see how my group performs and why. It's the same thing with DPS meters, if no one would use DPS meters, how could you possibly know why you are failing DPS checks (like Varlariel)? It will always be because half your group is pulling <300 DPS. Probably because they decided that non-set heavy armor and DW was good for a Magicka/Stamina hybrid DPS. If they don't do the 500 DPS that is required by everyone for it to even be possible to get through that fight, do they still have the right to complete it by being carried through by people who do 1,4K?
I've seen enough fights where one person does the job of four others. If that makes me elitist now, then so be it.. Anyway, I'm not a mean person so I don't kick people from PUGs.. If I do PUGs I just assume that half the group is incompetent and make sure the other half can still finish it. It would still be nice to have inspect to see approximately how good the rest of the group needs to be to make up for these people
