Champ system Applying Damage mitigation bonuses twice?

So I noticed with testing lethal arrow (poison damage) that its doing about 60% less damage than the tooltip. There are 2 items in the champ system, one that reduces poison damage by 25% and one that reduces physical damage by 25%. The person I am fighting has 15k armor.
Is there any chance that both poison resistance and Physical resistance could be being applied to Lethal arrow?

Astien✭✭✭✭My bad, I must've mis read something, I am not finding the Reduce Physical damage by 25%, But even so. There isn't anything that explains doing 60% less damage, As there is a Champ Bonus to Poison damage, So they should negate eachother out.0

Whats the race that you're testing it on, think Bosmer get poison resist, and another race... Not sure though, also ask him if he has poison resist enchants, that could be an issue... But I don't think the poison applies to the direct attack, just the DoT.Aldmeri Dominion For Life!

Was a Nord DK. With no Poison enchants. but good thinking.
