Why do the stable masters still sell horses and why are they still referred to as if they have a bonus? The light horse still refers to speed. The painted to carry. The Black to Stamina.
Do they still have a 10% bonus in those areas or not? Will my current bonus transfer? If it does do I get a higher than 60 for those areas or just a starting bump?

This is a good question.

I made a v14 premade with a riding skill of 0 in all categories and purchased the Bay Dun "speed" horse. My speed riding skill is still zero. So there is no bonus on the pts horses and that text is now just flavour text.

Last week when NA characters were copied my character who has the 10% speed and the 10 carry horse at level 50 had level 60 in both speed and carry for her riding skills on the pts.

So it appears that horses purchased prior to 1.6 live will have the bonus, but if purchased after they are ONLY skins with no bonus.

Yeah, I noticed this as well. They should consolidate this somewhat. And while they're at it, now that all horses are equal and others can even be purchased via crowns, maybe lower the cost for the horses to about 10-15k to make them more easily obtainable.

@ZOS, I have question about riding skills, how they will be counted when 1.6.... goes life? Right now on PTS my characters was copied from eu, my main have 2 imperial horses with different stats, all lvl50, but on PTS my riding skills similar only to one of the horses and second horse seems like just gone to nowhere, it must be like this or...?
