I've only 1 feeling and it's on loan at the moment. Semi-serious though. I've not yet made up my mind on them. I remember the 100s taking some adjustment for me way back. So maybe these won't feel so clunky eventually. More time for me personally.
I can handle 4 digit numbers but it gets tough to read at a glance once you get into the 5 digit range. I understand they did it to avoid decimals and such, but was it really that bad? Don't remember any complaints.
Completely unnecessary and overcomplicating things
Hate it, can't stand it, I don't want this game to turn into WoW with 4 million damage critical hits, it's insane, not easy going on the eyes and annoying... It makes it harder to do the math in your head as well, and to be honest, it wasn't a needed change. I don't care about a 1% change to my character, I know it helps, I know it's there, but it's 1%, and it's not effective, no matter how big you inflate the numbers, a 1% change is a 1% change, a 6th grader could know that.

I tested it and it has to many numbers. 4 digits was fine. If they "just multiplied it by 10" then what is the overall use? Then they could just better divide it by 10. It just overcomplicate things. In WoW in the end people did 9 million damage. they brought it back to "normal" numbers.
I rather have ESO keep the original numbers.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

Yeah, I'm very "meh" on the new numbers. If there was just a decimal point on there, it'd be a lot less incomprehensible. Great I have 20k Stamina... what does that mean!?
Completely unnecessary and overcomplicating things
I think there are a ton of things you can be critical of in 1.6, but the most annoying thing about 1.6 is the number change. I understand why they did it. I still hate it. I hate the idea. Just leave the numbers the way they were, and make people put in multiple points into a stat to gain a 1 point change.
Keep it old school, the lower numbers are better and seem more meaningful.
Completely unnecessary and overcomplicating things
I personally think it overcomplicates a system of numbers we've had for a year. Sure make the armor bigger to account for a noticable difference between v12 and v14 armor but critical, base stats and spell/weapon damage should stay the same. To understand everything better leave it as is. This isn't some korean MMO, I dont want to see 9000, 17k silly numbers on my screen.

1 is a small number.
Lets say 1 gold is the smallest amount of currency.
Lets say a Taco is the cheapest food a person can purchase.
It makes more immediate sense for a Taco to cost 1 Gold than for a Taco to cost 1000 Gold. This is because there would be 1-999 sequential numbers that would have no relation to any whole value when a Taco costs 1000Gold.
This is exactly what the "ESO Extreme Edition" feels like. Why are there all these numbers that reference no whole value?

Just wanted to keep this topic alive and add that I deeply dislike the increased numbers also.
I know it's just one digit, and we could just pretend to ignore it and think in the lower number we like, but it's not the same.
If you look over 120 damage you can tell at a glance how much that is out of your 850 hp.
But if you look at 2841 damage with your 21345 hp you need a moment or more to count all the digits and see how much that means.
As a player it's a lot more comfortable to be able to quickly asses the value of numbers, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks this comfort is a lot more important than seeing some digits change when you add a 0.2% bonus talent.
I got the reasons why they put this, but I think they overestimate their importance. So you might not see a 0.1% stat improvement. Guess how many of my friends check their stats before and after spending a talent: NONE.
We TRUST the system, we know that if you spend that 0.2% bonus you will get it, even if your armor is too low for the difference to be visible. But again, most people aren't going to check anyway.
Instead, we get this unpleasant huge stat multiplication that makes me spend a few seconds every time I pick a skill or item to figure if those numbers are big or small, instead of doing it instantly.
I really REALLY wish we could go back to the old system.
At the very least, use digits instead with an option to disable them (and basically have the old numbers back in).
I hope someone reads these things and considers our requests.
