This PTS week was a sad week. Me and none of my friends was doing any pvp tests, because it was no fun with them exploiters. We basically lost 1 valueable week.

Discovering such a bug is one thing and to do it a few times to test it, is okay. But to exploit it in such an outrageous way, is criminal. I am somewhat angry

Gina Bruno said, that the PTS is a test server, but exploit stays exploit. (though I think, she does no agree to punishment) On the other hand, can we punish players for testing the game ? It's a hard decision. I myself can't find an excuse for exploiting it that much.

ZOS reserves the right to handle misbehaving testers as they see fit and decide who is misbehaving. They have the technology to temporarily deny PTS access, after numerous warnings, on a case by case basis.

That being said, I recommend staying out of Cyrodiil until ZOS gets your point and try not to make any unnecessary Cyro rivalries on the forums.

Don't ban them or something... I wouldn't have known wether I am allowed to do so, even though I couldn't justify such behaviour by myself.
However give them a warning, we basically lost a week of testing in PvP.
Didn't even bother to log into Cyrodiil again after the first day.

Maybe you should take a look if they represent anyone you had your silly "guild summits" with, then go back and make sure everything they said is being ignored or something.

Given the large number of VR14s who got there by botting I don't think we learned very much over this episode:

we all saw them 6 months ago, VR1s in Coldharbour botting their way to VR2, then later in the VR3 zones botting their way to VR3

the VR10 bots being talked about in a current thread, where someone reports talking to the botter who has 8 characters he's leveling simply by botting auto-attacks.

not to mention the PVP botting that was and apparently still is rife to some extent.

I think they already replied to that. PTS has a completely different protocol of applying changes.

As they also commented, PTS is there to discover the mistakes/bugs and report them. Not abuse them and break the rest of the content testing. That is pretty straight.

Because they abused a privilege by seriously damaging the testing ZOS provide the PTS for.

As for not fixing it for a week, that's irrelevant, it's not an alibi for the abusers that the abuse wasn't prevented.

Also crystal frag is doing 25000+ dmg, I do fill out a bug report. One guy this morning was turning the PVP map blue by himself.
