7.) Black soul gems should still be needed to harvest human souls, and if they don't want to make black soul gems then at least offer an in game explanation as to why the Black Soul Gems are not needed to trap human souls in the second Era but they are needed from the Third Era on.
That's awesome. I hadn't read that particular book before. It explains it all very nicely, and in a totally plausible way IMO.starkerealm wrote: »
This one is actually explained in game. You need to find one of the lore books from Galerion. It's the "Guild Memo on Soul Trapping." You can find a copy here: http://www.esohead.com/books/240-guild-memo-on-soul-trapping
The basic takeaway is that the whole Black Soul Gem system is a bit of a cheat because the soul trapping spells the Mages Guild teaches are deliberately flawed. The soul trapping spell the players get is (apparently) a byproduct of their connection to Cold Harbour, meaning it has no such limitation.

earliest game I played was oblivion so I never got to play morrowind.. sounds like that was awesome..
Quoted for truth. Even back when it came out I found Morrowind's graphics off-putting. Too much uncanny valley for me. As far as story and such, though, it was a great game.
Morrowind is still my favorite. You might not be able to handle the graphics now. They are very dated. I can handle it because of nostalgia.

Though some of them would require a lot of work and effort (like housing) and some of them are (unfortunately) impossible due to game mechanics as they are (and should be for an online game), there are MANY things here that are certainly easier and quick to do
So.... Let us increase a bit of Daedric Summoning skill and call forth @ZOS_MattFiror to read on this post
Also, I'd like to add another minor addition that I think would make this game so much more immersive, beautiful and a true TES experience:
WEAPON SHEATHS/SCABBARDS
Please, I hate to look like a World of Warcraft character, with unsheathed weapons hanging from my belt... Give us weapons sheaths, pretty please!?
Think about it, you could even 'sell' custom scabbards in the Crown Store (wink, wink)
And now that I mentioned it, having both our weapon sets shown at the same time (like bow + quiver on back and dual wield on waist) would be awesome too. Similar sets could have alternate spots to avoid clipping (like if you use two sets of dual-wield, one of them would be crossed on your back, etc...)
