When you see these motifs, they cost quite a bit and also style materials are somewhat rare...

However the book itself contains no clue about requirements..

When trying to use, it states that you need Clothier, metalworkewr or woodworker at 7..

I proceed to make and break some stuff to hit 7 for my new crafter.. Then i reach 7 in Metal worker and try to use the book again.. Still wants 7, cant use..

Proceed to read more and it seems that it means you need 7 skillpoints in the tree... Hmm is that really clear enough?

Books like these should clearly be stated their requirements on the description, pisses me off that it seems to need something but really needs something else..

Furthernmore, i feel this requirement is completely pointless and frustrating.

Yes, i do have crafter with necessary skills, but that character is due to removal since i dont like it..

Yeah, I bought the Daedric motif from a Guild Trader when I was at Blacksmithing/Clothing/Woodworking at rank 8, Daedric requires rank 9, so it wasn't so bad to wait... but if I'd bought it at rank 1 I'd be pissed. It'd be nice if before you bought it you get a pop-up or something.

Well.. Problem seems to be that it needs tier 7 crafting skill while i was thinking it needs level 7 in one of those 3 crafting skills..
Should be level req instead and clearly stated on the description..

Just wish there would be no frustrating grind needs like this.. I mean i can make homespun out of it but i still need to know how to make veteran clothing o.O

Rarity of these motifs should be enough to makre them rare, not any pointless skill requirement.

Agree. It's especially confusing with Woodworking since both the overall skill and the line in the tree have the same name. It's very easy to think that it means "Level 7 Woodworking" rather than 7/9 points invested in the Woodworking skill (which requires Woodworking Level 30... confusing, isn't it?).

What do you think? Are these requirements becessary and in correct level?

Would these rare item styles lose their worth if requirement were less or even lifted?

You should not be able to make the nicest things with next to NO effort. Lvl 7 in any of the Crafts is a joke to reach and can be attained the first day with minimal effort. Expect to work to have nicer things, just like in real life. smh

Elder, it is not lvl7 - it is 7 skill points in blacksmith. You cannot reach it in one day.

I don't have a problem with there being a level requirement for the rare style motifs. I do think it should be spelled out much more clearly than it is now, since I know of several people who are not idiots who have been caught out by it recently.

Yep. Actually, I would not mind if they would remove this requirement completely. This would increase the price of those motifs by tenfold in a sec.

Or buy them in the Store, as in real life?
