ESO is heading for consoles finally! Super Hyped for it! I'm wondering which console people are planning on playing the game on. I will be playing Xbox One, (Not to discredit PS4 in any way) and I'm wondering what you all will be playing! (If at all! Still sub on PC) I'd love to hear from the community and see the general preference! Post your platform in comments below!

Even though I have an Xbox One, I'll probably still stick with just PC personally. Although I am curious as to how many people I know will end up getting it on the X1.

Xbox One. I have my Wife and about 5 IRL friends all getting it for the Xbox One. My wife and I currently play the PC version, which took her a while to get use to keyboard and mouse, but she did and we have a lot of fun with it. We will maintain our PC account since we have made friends that we play with as well.

When we go to the Xbox One, we will use our existing character mainly to craft and make things for our new characters we want to make and also to help out fellow Xbox One players. We also have other toons that we have loaded up with supplies/gold so that when we move over, we can disperse some crafting items/gold to help other players out (as well as making it easier for our new characters).

Perhaps as we get closer to launch, we should see who wants to make a Xbox One guild together? Or for that matter a PS4 one for players on that system.

Lastly, will there be specific forums dedicated to each console version?

You should have made this a poll....

I will be playing on PS4. I will likely play on PS4 casually and keep my progression gameplay on the PC, where I will buy DLC packs and whatnot.
What ESO really needs is an Auction Horse.
    That's right... Horse.

As someone who games on all systems, XBox One. You can rely on it being up as well as a much better online experience. XB1 to me is a PC gamer's console. Many of my PC gaming friends also game over XBox Live as sometimes there is more competition there than PC these days.

PS4 seems to have slightly better graphics but XB1 seems to do shading better, so it can always be debated. My PC will run circles around consoles as far as graphics are concerned, so I obviously wouldn't buy a console based on graphics alone as long as they are good enough --- but rather the experience & exclusives library. Microsoft has been all action these days while Sony has had problems on MANY fronts including with their online service --- who knows when that will happen again.

Lastly, the XB1 controller is so much nicer IMO. Especially if like me, you have big hands... the PS controller can be a nuisance with how close the R1/R2 and L1/L2 buttons are. While playing games I will often reload in the middle of trying to shoot --- unless I hold my hands in an uncomfortable way. Also the layout.. I just feel you can aim & move better on XB1 which is why you will often see the leaderboards of XBox Live with better scores in many games than PSN. This isn't going to be true EVERY TIME but it seems very consistent to me.

Heck I even played DA:I on PC using an XB1 controller for one of my playthroughs and found it worked better for DA:I than KB/M did (which is not what you would expect from a Dragon Age game).

    Anyway, I hope that helps.

Additionally: As far as game exclusives go, I'd say XB1 took year one for certain... I really liked Titanfall, Dead Rising 3, and Sunset Overdrive. While Titanfall and DR3 are also on PC --- Titanfall has a lot of action over XBL and DR3 I had 100% all achievements on XB1 before it ever hit PC. I was not too crazy about inFAMOUS --- at least not as pleased with it as I was the original. Killzone was meh and has just been downhill since KZ2 imo. The other PS4 exclusives were mostly arcade games which I didn't find any I was crazy about. Heck my Wii U had better exclusives for me than PS4 for last year, but to each their own.

This year who knows.. with Halo 5 and Uncharted 4.. I would say both systems are good to own this year, but I'd still take XB1 if I only had to choose one of them. I'm not convinced on games like The Order 1886, etc.. yet.... you know more unknown titles for either system. I'm not saying new IPs won't be great.. I am hoping plenty are, however with how things have been in the realm of gaming I wouldn't take leaps at them just yet unless they were made by Bethesda, Bioware, Rockstar, and just a few other studios.
