What about Trophies in collections UI ?

With the new patch coming out we saw changes in our bag space. Thats because of the increased stack limit of materials, the new collection UI where we now have pets mounts etc but what about all the Trophies we earned on the way ? They really take lots of space in our inventory and im sure with upcoming DLC's more will come.
With new achievements to accompany them it would make people to want to get them and not to avoid them. I had many discussions with friends of mine and we share the same thoughts.
I suggest a new tab in the collections UI about Trophies and new achievements for them.

This is my personal opinion on the matter and i would really like to know what you think about it.
Kill one man, and you are a murderer. Kill millions of men, and you are a conqueror. Kill them all, and you are a god...

Disguises could fit in the collections this is true. You are right. I know many people who RP and they actually collect as many as they can so it would make a huge difference for everyone

The idea behind the collection UI, i want to believe, is to finally have an order in the player's inventory space and to help us out a bit. Elder Scrolls games had always the choice "You can pick anything you see" kind of thing. The difference is that we used to have Houses in most cases and we could store a LARGE amount of things here and there. We do not have this option here and things get a little bit overwhelming. We know that Player Housing will come at some point. They said they will but ..nevertheless all the things that considered to be "collections items" could fit nicely in the new UI.

They've already explained an intention to add trophies and disguises to the collection system, but because they don't work the same way as pets and costumes it's not as cut-and-dry as it may seem. They'll get added eventually.

Didn't know that they said something about it. Thank you for the info.
Sadly i still do not understand the problem behind it actually. A disguise works the same way as a costume as far as i know and about the trophies.. well, they could make a separated tab for those. No need to put them in the pet section or whatever.
    Right?

I don't understand why it would would be so difficult. Existing trophies such as Razak's Opus and the Gemstone of Skeletal Visage are already added to our collections. Those two are a pet and a costume, respectively. Several other trophies or unique items transform your appearance and should be added to the collections.

What is most likely giving them trouble is the trophies that produce some sort of visual effect. These trophies provide temporary effects, such as Almalexia's Lantern and the Totem of Rage, and must be used to produce the effect. They're also activate-able from your quickslots. This will require some doing, and they're still probably trying to figure out how to fit all that in.

In the case of disguises, they're applying an "enchantment" that makes them work against certain NPC types, and are designed to be lost when discovered. That doesn't really work with the quests, where you're intended to recover a new disguise each time that happens. They did say something along the lines of "completing the quest would reward you the same outfit as a costume" but that was just a thought. As for trophies, idk.

I can't find the post now because I can't remember who wrote it, and the dev tracker isn't searchable on its own. =|

totally agree. i think they could easily make it but for some reason they didnt

I worry that one day will come and they will add "bag space" in crown store.. to "help us out" with disguises and trophies...

It's a bit weird that people who obviously have no insight into how the code for ESO works claim to know whether some feature or other is easy or hard to implement.
Sorry people, as they did not include it yet, there certainly is a reason behind it that is not obvious to the regular user. I could come up with several speculative ideas but that's just what they would be, speculations.
I do give them the benefit of doubt and not claim it's stupidity or lazyness.

Razzak's Opus and the skeleton costume got added to the collection system. I don't see why the other ingame costumes (not the ones from the Justice System) couldn't make it as well.
I guess this is yet another issue of dev time or rather amount of dev time spent on non-monetizable content.

Its true i dont know how the code works, maybe its easy maybe its not.
Whatever the case i dropped an idea while the patch is on PTS in case we are lucky enough to see it live. Also if enough people want this as much as i do ZOS will respond with an answer or maybe a future update?

Of course it is desirable and ZOS already stated that this is to be implementet later on. I just can't find where I read it. It might even have been the 1.6 patch notes but it elueds me.

I believe it was on the last episode of Elder Scrolls Off The Record. They interviewed Paul Sage and Chris Strasz.

    You can find it here.
