I'd like to see a third option for dungeons be added... a solo-only Champion mode.
Basically a third rendition of the dungeons which would be playable when you complete both normal and veteran group modes.
They should be littered with WB style mobs (no perma CC or instant death tricks), dps/tank/cc/heal checks good, lots of environmental aides to assist you if need be and absolutely no quest triggered unlocks (can't imagine relogging in a solo instanced dungeon and the headache that'd cause).

Edited to remove the last part of the previous statement. Feedback from the community convinced me that the solo behind group content would be a bad idea.

They are not impossible to solo though, just level up and come back later. I could solo most of the public dungeons even in Craglorn, with a pretty much fail Templar Build (just saying it would be easier with other Classes).0 -

✭✭I like the idea but I think...I think it could be an interesting idea to re-use existing content and create a solo-hardcore challenge for players. At least this is how I understood your proposition, as a difficult PVE content for solo players that wish to be challenged alone.
I'm not in favour to make a easy soloable Dungeon.

But I'm pretty sure they won't ever consider a solo version of dungeons. When addressing the question of companions being added to the game, Gina or Jessica flatly stated being an MMO they feel some content needs to remain strictly group content.

✭✭No.I like to play with others, that's why I pick an MMO. What ZO should do is getting rid of the instance portals and group requirements.
Everything should be open to everyone and if he or she meets people on the way, then even better.

However, the game has plenty of solo content already, and I don't see the point of putting more solo content behind group-only content. No.hell no should have been an option. if you don't want to group up in a dungeon, then you just won't be able to do that dungeon. this is coming from someone that hates grouping with strangers for dungeons. put on your big boy/girl pants and suck it up that if you want to do dungeons get a group. the game is 99% solo as it stands. if you can't take on public instances outside of craglorn, then you shouldn't be wasting dungeon crawlers time by interfering with their run... thats all you would be doing.I will work. Between Cadwell's silver and gold, 70% of the game is already re-used existing content do we really need more?
There being group specific dungeons is pretty much a thing that exist in most if not all MMOs I've ever played. Sure some you could overlevel and comeback to do it solo or something, but it wasn't intended.
Personally, I solo about 95% of the time, as such I don't do the group dungeons. I think in the year I've played I have done two maybe three group dungeons, and really don't lament the fact. I'm pretty used to it.

There is a lot to do but if someone chooses to play alone, then the content becomes very limited.
This idea isn't bad tho. It seems that many in the forums support this. I fear that the impact will cause everyone to play alone. I'm OK with this is this is a experience that does provide quest completion of the dungeon in a small scale version.
But then I feel that those who group should gain an exp bonus and noticeable each time the group dungeon is completed.
This makes solo players and group players happy-PC (PTS)/Xbox One: NewBlacksmurf

Yeah, the game has a lot of solo content, but the 5% that is either group-only or solo-impossible happen to be the areas where all the good rewards are. How do you get the Wise Mage set solo? How about Valkyn Skoria?#CAREBEARMASTERRACE1 -

jcasini222ub17_ESO✭✭✭✭I don't care either way.I'd much prefer adding to the size of current single delves. I think the public dungeons and group dungeons are decently sized and designed. The single devles are still mind numbingly small loops. This was fixed in the final zones of each faction, single devles made larger with an addiontal (sometimes optional) loop. That idea needs to cascade down hill to all zones.
Currently in vr or 1-50 some of these devles are so small that you can enter and run down the person in front of you, going through 3/4's of the delve without any combat. It doesnt feel right.0 -
