Do you think when this hits live all the grind spots are going to be insanely over crowded as players try to farm champion points?
Maybe, but I still want a viable way to earn XP that doesn't force me back to the 1990s group-or-die way of playing PVE.
A few of us have been farming champion points (grinding) just to see how fast you can get the points.
We are averaging 2-4 points an hour. Yes, its boring, but still, PST is for testing.

Can you tell us where and how? :disagree:
Having leveled 5 jobs (classes) in FFXI to 75 which was entirely group-or-die, before that game became low-man/soloable some years later, I know full well there's usually precious little 'social interaction' in group grinding, it's simply chain mob killing till it's time to log off'.Maybe, but I still want a viable way to earn XP that doesn't force me back to the 1990s group-or-die way of playing PVE.
*sigh* ....all the good memories....
At least there have been social interaction while grinding as a group when people where forced to team up. Today in MMOs people want as least social interaction as possible for whatever reason.
I personally like the concept of people being able to make progress while they play the game however they want.
Grinding those points while effective seems a very unpleasant approach. Perhaps they should just cap the gain to a point per hour or something, pretty much forcing people to just play the game and do whatever instead of grinding like a monkey.
Not capping it, means that in order to stay competitive in PVE and PVP people will feel forced to grind. Which in my book, is not a fun thing to do.

It's a pain for me to grind my DK there because it's filled with people. And in update 6 Spellscar grind is removed aswell.
