Spelldamage raise with CP-System?

Hi,
i searched an Option to raise my Spelldamage with the CP-System. The only Skill i found was in the "blue" Line and called Thaumaturg. It raises the Damage with Poison, Disease and Magicka.
I put 23 Points in there but i cant see that it raise my Spelldamage or the Damage from my Spells. So, is this broken or isnt there an Option in the CP-System to raise the Spelldamage?

DeathDealer19✭✭✭✭it would only in turn increase damage from abilities that use Poison, Disease, or magicka. If something is fire based, shock based, etc I do not think that counts as "magic" damage. I think things that scale off magic are things like entropy. Poison and disease I couldn't even guess other than poison dots from bow or weapon enchants.
I could be wrong so some actual clarification from ZOS would be nice. I am 100% sure this was never intended to increase base spell dmg since that would buff everything not just poison, disease, and magicka@DeathDealer19

Hm, i looked at my Spelldamage and at my Magicka Skills, i looked at all that have to do with Magicka Damage, nothing raises up. In the same Part you can train the Physical Damage Skill, it says it raises the Physical Strength/Damage.
You can seperate train the elemental Damage, Crit and Heal and so on. Only pure Spelldamage or Damage from the Magicka Spells are dont in or work. The Thaumaturg Skill is the only that comes near that. But it dont change anything to the Numbers.
A Clarification from Zenimax was would be very helpfull to plan for the Future.
