Ok can anyone please explain me WTF is this!. A guy called Nerfsorc was killing people in 5 seconds and he had 42 health+shields!!!!!. How is this possible? How can a sorcerer have 42k health and do this insane dmg????

    In the screenshot doesn't appear "Emperor" under his name.

    This title only appears if you select it, he probably didn't.
    You can be Emperor and use a title you like, it's not automatically "Emperor".

    I sat back and watched a few of his/her duels last night and it was pretty insane the amount of damage they were putting out in a short amount of time. Not calling nerf or anything. Sypher (or at least someone with the same name) dueled them a few times and was able to hold his own for a bit, but the damage output was pretty ridiculous.

    Even if he is emperor, the damage coming out of min-maxed builds is just stupid. Cap removal was a horrible idea.

    Am I seeing things, or is this the 3rd thread complaining about sorc balance because the emperor is strong? Please pay more attention to who you fight.

    OP I've seen live Emp's with 5k hp, so this is not unreasonable (regarding the conversion, at least) at all.
    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

    IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.
    I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    It's Nerfsorc's fault. All he has to do is use the Emperor title and it would prevent a few of these threads a day ;)

    I find it ironic that his name is Nerf- Sorc and the result of these threads will probably be a nerf to sorcs.

    Please don't nerf sorcs. I'm a PVE magicka sorc who has had to completely change my build since crit surge no longer warrants a space on my bar. At the moment I'm experimenting with pets/necropotence set and sheild stacking. Understandably, many people have had to change their builds with 1.6. I've seen posts asking for Necropotence set and sheilds to be nerfed.However,since crit surge changed, I haven't found another way to stay alive other than using shields.

    Of course I understand that there are PVP concerns and I'm sure there must be a way to resolve them withouth hobbling my class in PVE.

    Crystal fragments for 10k is normal on the PTS, 7k from the curse is your own fault for not purging it. 17k from Overload is normal.

    That's not insane damage, that's normal. Damage itself is broken in the PTS. As for the 40k HP, he's an emperor so yea.. +100% to all stats
