Have you done a repair on the installation (I realize you just downloaded it, but you would be surprised.

This is an API error that generally occurs when there are out of date add ons installed. Head to My Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\PTS and move the addons folder to your desktop. From there, try logging in again and let us know if that message goes away!1
