    i wish i had tried this b4 reinstalling. i will let you know how it goes in 6 hours. it is the last bug of the list

    well, i would have tried it, but the clean install fixed it for me. i've started the game 3 times after exiting out of everything. i would try the suggestions above first. only because they take less time. and if all else fails, delete everything in the 'zenimax online' folder in program files, and download from scratch off website

    well i open up the game client & its fully downloaded then i go to press play & this black screen pops up with an error message saying ESO has stopped working ive tryed repair the download/updating my software/even running the program in administrator & the problem keeps occuring

    Let's try the following and see if it helps. Close the game as well as the launcher. Head to My Documents, grab the Elder Scrolls Online folder, and move it to the desktop.

    Open up the launcher and hit play once that has been completed. Let us know if you get the same black screen error!

    Thank you very much for sending that along! We had a tech agent send the report over so we could take a look. It appears the issue is occurring as your computer does not meet the minimum requirements to run the game. Specifically your computer is using an onboard chipset, and doesn't have a video card installed.

    Here are the minimum requirements for ESO:

    Processor: Dual Core 2.0GHz or equivalent processor
    Memory: 2 GB RAM

    Same here :( and plys no: its your graphic card.. it worked pre-patch and it worked on PTS.

    I have a guildmate who is currently struggling with getting BSOD when getting to the file verification step of installing the update. He can get to 26% and then he gets a BSOD with a memory management error, and then his pc shuts down. He was running the game fine yesterday! We've gone through memory tests, checking video card updates, malware scans and a myriad of other steps to try to figure out what's going on. Any tips?
