There goal will be console after June, wouldn't surprise me if pc gets shut down come x-mas.

But what they have said is basically they won't be able to keep the same pace of updates they did in 2014, which given that pace most are expecting the next update to be fall or very end of the year.

They won't be shutting them down at Christmas. It's free to play after buying the game. Look how long SWTOR and others have been going

It was a mistake to release this MMO on multiple platforms when they don't have the resources/manpower to stabilize the PC version. I wouldn't be surprised to see little if any new content.

Imagine how buggy console version will be, then. They couldn't fix the problems on PC version in one year with the whole team of devs, how can they do it on consoles, when less then that many will work on two platforms? Unless, they've had consoles as their prime target from the beginning and PC version had only small part of the team working on it.
Even the mand with color blindness said he will play consoles.

Wow, I'm getting bored now, can't imagine what will happen if I have to wait till almost Xmas before we get any new content. Running the same vet dungeons are getting dull especially when the rewards are not really worth it.

There are other games out there. There is little point playing the same content over and over until Zos releases more "maybe" later this year.

What I think will happen is that we will get the console release on June 9th. E3 this year falls on June 16th - 18th. I bet we get a trailer for upcoming content during E3. They are releasing a week before E3, I am sure that they want to have something ESO to talk about at E3. I can see them stating how good the launch was on console and they are happy to share the news of new content coming to PC and Console in "X" amount of months.

I see new content as all new playable areas with a lot of PVE content in addition to some new smaller things for the Crown Store. I alos think this content won't come out until September or so, this gives the console version 3 months in the Wild and having a big PVE content update 3 months later will be seen as a positive thing to many and in between that time we will see some new smaller items in the Crown store.

It is true that after 1.6 they have said to NOT expect more updates. They lost a few developers and the ones that are left say they need a break ....

Developers...considering we waited nearly a year for really new content and all we got was Grinds and stupid Craglorn I am not sure they had any.

Well, they had planned from onset to release console versions, it was just delayed a lot. Considering that they probably have been working on the console versions for over 2 years or more (just estimating) I am surprised we got any content and major updates to begin with.

I agree, it is a big undertaking making a MMO on just one platform, but them making this PC/Mac/PS4 & Xbox One is a huge undertaking. I think the reason the console versions were delayed to begin with is because they have been trying to fix the PC version, because if they launched the Console version in as bad as the PC version launched it would of been over a long time ago.

I personally think that the console versions will sell very well and it will have legs. With the time frame they are launching it is usually a slow time of releases on Console, so the timing will be good. With the release right before E3, as I stated above, I think they will have some good things to show at E3 for the game to gain even more interest in the game.

Come on people really think about all those thing like Wrothgar, The new area of Blackmarsh, Theives Guild, Dark Brotherhood are mostlike already done and will be trun in to DLC so we will mostlike get new content.

And say it wont be any new content for whole is wrong think on your part with word like "1.6 they have said to NOT expect more updates" mean that Dev. team will not work on any new DLC this year but we will still get DLC of thing that is done already and will mostlike keep work on thing that is in there pipeline and complete phase 4 of Champion system.

Beside if you are keep subscribe run you will not even notice when a DLC is available for you will get download as we have it now serious people you something need think with head more.

DLC mean that all content that is done up to now will come to us but the Dev. team will not start work on any new content this year but will mostlike complete what have start.

Well this would indeed be nice, but no one actually knows what is finished except ZoS since they will not even answer direct questions about it.

One could speculate Wrothgar or Thieves Guild is done and that they just meant they would not be developing anything as yet not mentioned before, but I do not think that is the case, considering Sage's response that "We aren't yet ready to discuss how Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild will be introduced," we can't even get a confirmation on it's details.

Some of the things people are discussing in this thread were in fact answered if anyone cares to read through the statements you will find many here

Come on serious think a little about what you are saying now you really think that ZoS wont let content like Wrothgar, The new area of Blackmarsh, Theives Guild, Dark Brotherhood if the are done to put on DLC well that would be suicide for company for no company that change B2P and have new "release" on a new platform can't afford lose there new "customer" with in 6 month after a release what is point of add consoles to already work system add new subscribe model to game if wont release DLC for the whole B2P model work on idea of release DLC to keep there playerbase busy while work no new thing.

I not implying they wouldn't release finshed content on purpose, and if that is what you got out of my post I don't see why.

I am simply stating the facts which are that ZoS to date is not providing any confirmations about what they will and will not release or when, so all the speculating in the world will not bring you any closer to the details which are missing since ZoS won't provide them. Again, read it for yourself, it's not like I am making it up.

No i not get that out of what you say i just mean that there are alot of people that think we will sit around for whole year without anything new just look what happen to WoW before there last expansion hit a whole year without anything new to do and what was the lose around 2 million player world wide take that put in ESO that would mean ESO would be more or less dead at the end of this year as game.

I'm not implying that you did write anything wrong in your post it is just sometime that people draw there conclusion without think of big picture.

But as CEO i would not have that luxury to that me company sit a whole year without make any money and i would not have luxury to lose my old "customer" or my new "customer" which will come with the consoles release for that is basically what we are to ZoS.

Is this true? I thought we had two new zones coming out? Have those been canned
No they haven't, as usual in the vacuum created by ZOS total silence on anything past 1.6 except for the STORE, then mindless fact-free speculation ensues.

I don't expect to see 1.7 (whatever that contains, which right now we know nothing about) before August .. Orsinium is going to be DLC so expect that one, as well as the Imperial City PVP zone which has been ready for months probably since it was almost ready for PTS last September or so, both will be launched as soon as possible to rake in STORE sales.

If people think ZOS hasn't mapped in detail every piece of content out for the next 2 to 5 years then said people have consumed too much Moon Sugar...

What I would like to see as a fan and longtime player of all things Elder Scrolls is that 'map' of things to come posted in the open for all to see just to end the speculation. And the caveat of things are subject to change is just fine.

They'll be plenty of DLC as people above have said. I will be paying for ESO Plus (Subscription) so i'll still be getting all this DLC and so on, I don't see what all the fuss is about with ESO going B2P. Keep paying your Subscription and you'll still get all the new content.

I myself cannot wait for B2P and seeing how it goes, ambitious! B)
