It is true that after 1.6 they have said to NOT expect more updates. They lost a few developers and the ones that are left say they need a break ....It is true, there will be no more updates after 1.6 until 2016.

I'm confused then. If there are no updates for the rest of the year, how will there be DLC?lordrichter wrote: »born2beagator wrote: »Wow. So Wrothgar? The new area of Blackmarsh? Theives Guild? Dark Brotherhood? Have they really pushed ALL of these to more than a year away?
Not that anyone has confirmed, no.
Road Ahead should be up in a few days.
Consoles are launching in June, so expect many DLCs between July-December.
People are still doing the whole the game is dead they said "x" that is full of hyperbole. Just ignore those posts and wait for ZOS to release info. The good news is if you don't want to pay after March 17th you won't have to until they release new stuff.

Also it would be really dumb of them not to make ESO centered around Consoles (considering how Skyrim sold nearly all the copies just on Consoles and barely anything on PC).
I have to wonder though, what happens to us PC players once they don't need us anymore? (Which should be soon anyway)
They didn't say there won't be ANYTHING until 2016. Just that updates will be slower coming. Reading between the lines "don't be surprised if we don't release anything between March and Christmas".
I'm sure there will be updates around Christmas.

Keep in mind that ESO brings in more than TES fans that happen to play on a PC. There is a gigantic amount of people that came to ESO just for the MMO.
I agree with what you are saying, but don't underestimate the number of people playing ESO that barely even tried a console TES game.

Exactly.. That will give the console players time to soak in all of the content in the game and get them up to speed with the PC players.. BUT this will mean the pc players will be running old content for almost a year..
Basically ZOS has a almost a year to "REST" as the game is basically going to be brand new to a LOT of new players.
