Welp, Sorcs now officially have the most annoying CC in the game.

Anyone at ZOS wanna tell me why you decided Streak needed the ability to not only go through block, but not give immunity to the CC unless you specifically break it (The disorient doesn't give immunity when it breaks, only if you specifically break it)

Even Nightblade Fear gives bloody immunity when it ends

It goes through block? HAHAHAHAHA. One sorc can turn the entire tide of a PvP battle then. Make a build designed for nonstop streaking and he can just perma stun everyone while the rest of the zerg gropes anyone that drops block... At least it makes for entertaining wipes... *slots immovable*

Well i guess it was a change for the various long time disorients in the game to made vaible and nobody thought about streak.

This has to get revisited (and i say that as a sorc). CC without immunity through block is utterly stupid (yeah fear should also not go through block imho).

If they keep it in the game they will need to give access for temps and dks to have an aoe cc through block as well.

Though best thing to do would be to just revert/fix the changes to streak and fix fear on NBs as well. That's 1 skill I think that should be changed really as it's comparable to OPness that was DKs wings.

Does spear shards of the templar not offer a spammable dmg disorient? Its not aoe though. Has anybody tested that one yet?

Arch mage + Seducer lets you streak infinitely, but this shouldnt be a problem if everyone is spamming immovable right?

Btw. Spear shards is an aoe cc on pts. But I haven't testet if you can block it.

Ppl qq over talons going through block. Those ppl wanted cc immunity to fear and streak. Talons is good but u can still block/attack. Streak or fear u can't do nothing accept break it. So, again be careful on what you ask for.

Considering it increases the mana cost of using it within 4 seconds by 50% I don't see this as huge problem. Especially if you are rocking heavy armor and also have immovable.

Wonder if shields prevent the Disorient?

Eitherway its pretty simple tactic that when you see a sorcerer streak split apart so he has to use to CC the group or dodge and move around solo.

Or it could be just a bug. Don't remember anything in the PTS say Disorients can ignore immunity...

So go on, cry more about how sorcs are annoying.... because that CC is literally the only ability sorcs can use effectively. Trust me, they would use ANYTHING else if they could.

Sorcs are notoriously weak at melee range, so I don't see the problem with adding more disengage utility to the skill. If one is ever close enough to hit you with the CC, you should be dishing out major damage beforehand to make up for it.

Don't the skills that prevent CC affect this? Retreating maneuver and immovable for example.

Also streak only works when group is exactly in the same spot or line, so this is good way to make zerg balls break up. I don't see what streak could do, if it only hits 1-2 people at a time. Sorc should get shot down in few seconds.

Granted talons goes through block but you can still heal and attack while rooted... you will have to use 40% of you stam to break out of that to be able to do that with fear... I would let them nerf talons through block in a heartbeat if they made Fear not go through block.
