Characters Won't Load

I was playing in my character Manea@Minzoreta and tried to apply skill points to passives (clicking quickly as I usually do) and it crashed. Now I cannot load my characters from the character select screen. I am able to log into my husband's account on the same machine and load his characters without any issues.
The error occurs when I try to load a character so I can't report the error in game. I attached a screenshot showing what happens when I try to load a character.

I was able to fix my problem by following these steps:
1. find the launcher folder in the eso install folder. Probably in c:\program files (x86)\ZenimaxOnline\launcher
2. Rename the folder called "ProgramData" to "ProgramDataBackup"
3. Launch again.

After this, everything worked fine. Hope this helps others.

My 'fix' worked a few times but even renaming the ProgramData folder doesn't fix the problem anymore.

Same error keeps happening. Can't load characters.
