Armour Sets on the Play test server

Question since I haven't been on test server and wont till later this weekend

I'm not hearing any talk about set gear/gear sets

Are there any new ones introduced? has any of the old sets changed? have nay of the crafted sets changed?

If so how and to what effect?

    Actually not all sets are are 1% some sets are 0% which is completely entertaining. Oh and weapon damage and spell damage stacking is not as powerful. They are trying to make it hard to stack super high numbers which is all well and good but it isn't having the desired effect they want. Build diversity at least with this testing group is going out the window atm (which could change over time) and a lot of people feel that they are forcing champion system to get back to the power level they are currently seeing on live(which could also change over time.)

    While I agree with removing all soft caps for the game they should have introduced hard caps on all stats something attainable with spec into champion system plus minor armor set stacking or with a lot of armor set stacking that way they don't have to gut the crap out of the set bonuses to keep people from getting 100% crit chance. Honestly with this game a 40-60% crit rating should be the hard cap. Hard caps help build diversity more then debuffing existing numbers to make people invest in a new system to get them back too exactly where they were if not worse off.

    ZOS remove progression from sets and add progression to Champion System.So we need just grind to return the same power :)

    I understand what they did just making a suggestion to lessen the blow and in my experience forcing a grind or cutting some ones power and saying here you can have it back if you do this, is not a good way of handling the situation and certainly doesn't make you any friends or build faith in your self with you clientele especially when so many are loosing faith due to the B2P reactions.

    They need to make sure 1.6 is a slam dunk, touch down, home run, hat trick, 3 point from the parking lot,10 stocks to none, flawless victory that ends in a double rainbow type patch to assuage the community here and regain trust in a lot of people.

    I'm not saying they should kowtow from their vision but they need to be smart about the implementation I agree with what their doing 95% crit on my night blade is BS out of stealth with potion stacking. Clearly defined hard caps and multiple way of getting to them is the way to go.

    The stats scale on level and color. The V10 blue set bonus went to 2%, it might hit 3% by V14 Gold but not sure.

    They lowered alot crit values from everything, same with other stats, but the difference is intended to made up with champion points. You can really raise stuff like crit chance and crit damage in champion points so they didnt want things to be way over the top in the end

    The dominion(PVP) set with the Greatsword does give 0% Crit, anyone with them should report to get it fixed because that should at least translate to 3% crit from 10%.

    Lol no it won't they added the health bonus just so they could nerf the crit at most it will be 1% if they don't decide to leave it at 0% (even at zero it still is adding a laughable amount of crit.)

    It also might have something to do with the reworking of the impenetrable trait.

    Before, you could get crit chance very high, but also reduce it by a significant amount with impenetrable. In 1.6, impenetrable no longer reduces crit chance. So they adjusted for that.

    ^ lots of that, that is perfect reasoning, deductive thinking, and even more of a reason why they should have implemented in hard caps. Soft caps and DR is BS but hard caps are always a good idea as long as they are realistic and don't neuter a character or game.

    Nope.

    gold aether still had the +2%, confirmed.

    White nightmother's was +0% x3 at the crafting station...they really need to look at that one if it doesn't scale to at least 1-2% like the others.

    Warlock seems to have scaled properly, minus the regen on the jewelry.

    A gold VR14 Twilight's Embrace set offers a 2% Spell Crit bonus which is exactly half of what it currently is on 1.5.8. All Spell Crit and Weapon Crit sets have seen the same reduction. So far I have not noticed any other changes to crafted, looted or purchased sets.
