Possible issue - Vet BC very difficult

Attempted vet bc with group of guildmates, and Imiril was absurdly difficult. Her clannfear adds had way too much health. By the time we got the clannfear down, Imiril was spawning the banekin, and our tank was out of stamina. I also noticed on the daedroth boss that all of us had virtually no sustainability, with one cast of snipe or surprise attack costing me 10% of my total stamina pool, and we did paltry damage to him as well. This group was far from bad; all of us have completed vet bc numerous times, both before and after dungeon scaling, without issue.

Note that I am not against a meaty challenge in any game. It just felt like something wasn't right in this run. We were doing hardly any damage and were out of resources very quickly. Also, I discovered to my dismay that I cannot use any potions until the buff from Power Extraction wears off - which is a pretty serious issue.

Also, it seems like most things are not nicely scaled by 10. I have 2,700 health on live, but only 18,000 on pts (both values are not including food).
I play all classes, but I main Stamina Nightblade and Stamina Templar

    look you got lvl 50 again with only 70 points (25 points for each tree)

    you got shield bash efficiency, stamina regen, heavy armor efficiency, block expertise, resistant etc, putting only 10 points in one, leaves 15 points for the other 5, it doesn't put you back on the scale you v14 tank is on 1.5

    not to mention the sacrifices you make, shield bash or stamina regen, how much points does one choice to put in, put all in one and the other lacks and that doesn't per say make the fight more difficult, it just demands new strategy

    I went through vet DC last night and it appears that ZOS didn't do much, if anything, on testing specific vet encounters; they simply applied across-the-board buffs for the champion system changes.

    Of course, it could be that ZOS intends that we, as players, do the balance playtesting.

    Concerning your health points, it has been said that the health given by items has been decreased from 50% more to 10% (as you can read in the patch notes).

    Veteran Ranks are still around in Update 6. You are now VR14 with 70 Champion Points. No one has been reduced to Level 50.

    I wasn't tanking in this dungeon, I was dps =).
    Was alarmed at how much more my basic abilities cost percentage wise, and the fact that I'm not sure it's possible anymore to kill all of Imiril's clannfear adds before she comes back. The timer simply seems too short to me. I spent all 70 of my champion points immediately as well, in weapon power/crit whenever possible, so not really an issue there

    I'm sure that this dungeon is still doable with enough practice, but it seemed rather overly difficult imo, all things considered. Need to test Spindle... Praxin might be incredibly absurd with his waves of adds unless he's stopped spawning the last 2 waves so close together.
    As for my lowered health... I'll figure out how to make it work. Probably through lots of dying.

    What good is shield bash effeciency for a medium armour wearing bow user?

    We're looking into this now. Thanks for the heads up!

    Edit: We've capped Keeper Imiril's corruption spheres at a maximum of six active at a time, and made the dark clannfear slightly less powerful.
