No.
It makes abseloutely no sense that a blood starved vampire can not slap on a full-on iron helmet and that PEOPLE can still see that you're a vampire, even though your body is 100% covered in metal, and you look no different from the hundreds of guards standing beside you.
I agree on werewolves in their transformation, and vampires who use vampiric only powers. But murder a vampire because it decides to starve itself so it doesn't have to feed on the innocent? No.
Explanation...its the smell. The undead stink of....well death. The more starved you are, the stinkier you get. Maybe the guards should have hounds that can smell vampires out...wouldn't be a big deal for werewolves because of the kinship.

Morrowind had no stages. Vampires were instant, permanent, kill on sight for guards, and most NPCs. Only a handful would even talk to you.
Oblivion Vampires had 4 stages. Stage 4 vampires were kill on sight. Stage 1 had no sunlight limitations whatsoever. Though the game threw a bright filter over everything if you were out in daylight.
Skyrim Vampires had 4 stages. Without Dawnguard installed, Stage 4 vampires were kill on sight. With Dawnguard, that's no longer the case. Transforming into a vampire lord is a kill on sight offense. Crimes as a vampire lord do not count against your bounty... I think.
In Morrowind, Wolfing out was involuntary, and would happen at nightfall. It was an instant 1000g crime (say it with me now, kill on sight), if you were seen transforming. Crimes committed as a werewolf do not count against your bounty.
Oblivion had no werewolves.
Skyrim, transformations are at will. I'm not sure if it's a crime, but I think it's a 1000g bounty. Crimes committed as a werewolf, do not count against your bounty.

No, Zombies are pretty much Undead too. Anything that should physically be dead and its still walking around is, by definition, Undead.MornaBaine wrote: »This is an absolute must. Vampires are not dead and rotting. Those are zombies you're thinking of. Vampires are UNdead. They do not rot, they are supernaturally preserved forever. Ergo, no stench.

It's Mullet Ball's distant cousin twice removed on his mothers side .

Why? Just don't spend much time around anyone at dusk, and don't go near anyone in daytime. The only thing that was a real pain was the part of the main quest where you needed to be someplace at 6pm...

How would a guard know if I am a vampire? in past elder scroll games people just commented on me looking pale, sickly, and or diseased. Would be stupid for a guard to assume everyone who looks sick is a vampire and attck onsite...hell, I could just be an enimic starved veiny person with blodshot eyes and bad teeth. Doesn't give the guard the right to racially profile me and kill onsite...
A stage 4 vampire walks past a gate guard and the guard asks "Are you a vampire or just emmo?"

A Werewolf and a Vampire walk into a bar.
Werewolves can't duck, I don't know what the Vampire's excuse is.

Vampires are not dead and rotting. Those are zombies you're thinking of. Vampires are UNdead. They do not rot, they are supernaturally preserved forever. Ergo, no stench.
I'm fine for stage 4 vamps to be killed on site, as long as they go to coldharbor and do their banking, crafting etc there.
I would have thought coldharbor is the one place vamps are safe... but that's just me.
