    Class balance buffs / nerfs are the oldest story in the book. Its more about the overall content of the game in the future and when they are removing the VR ranks for me.

    It isnt what i expected at all but i think it will work
    Overall seems like an improvement for all three of my main characters (Nightblade, Dragonknight, and Templar in that order). I havent really gotten a sorceror to a decent level yet so I cant say where that character will stand.

    There's a few changes to each class that I dont like, but they seem to be outweighed by other positive changes.

    Joking aside, i've played MMO's long enough to not let changes bother me. I play Nightblade and Templar here, if we get nerfed then oh well but if not then hooray.

    Nerfs and buffs happen. They stopped bothering me a long time ago.

    As long as stuff still falls over if I hit it enough then i'm good to go.

    the strongest class in the game got even more buffs, the weakest got even more nerfs.... why even bother patching classes if the goal isnt balance? they should just remove sorcs from the game. anyone who reaches endgame on one on consoles will immediately quit as they suck, if not before due to the vr system still being in the game.

    jamming all the dk dps abilities into one bar using stam was a terrible idea....thanks for making my resource management impossible for my dw stam build zos...and also thank you kindly for the igneous nerf, standard nerf, ash cloud nerf, corrosion nerf,rapid strikes nerf, armor nerfs for crit and ult gains nerfs.

    I am at work so i can hopefully try it tonight. I do look forward to it. My NB is switching now between magicka and stamina. Magicka currently feels more powerfull for me, but i wanted to be stamina. So maybe 1.6 can make me make a permanant decision.

    If you can't survive without Crit surge you're playing wrong.

    I don't think Sorcerers should be able to charge in and outheal incoming damage while getting beaten on by a mass of foes, while spamming AOE skills.

    Pre 1.6 tactic -
    1. Apply Crit surge
    2. Charge in and make sure to pull as many foes as possible.
    3. Dont bother blocking.
    4. Spam favorite area AOE skill
    5. Win

    Post 1.6 tactic
    1. Apply crit surge.
    2. Use ranged attacks/spells
    3. if enemies get close. streak out or CC them in place (stay away from getting hit)
    4. Rinse & repeat
    5. Win

    If it's not enough you're getting hit too often. Try not to get hit and It should be enough.

    There's some serious transition issues, that resulted in some of my items getting eaten by the database... but... it's really neat.

    I think, I'm going to make a review for 1.6 later on.
    So far, I don't know what to think. I was very excited for the new animations. I don't know how you guys see it, but they are horrible, just horrible. OMG the staff animations O.O everything looked so smooth before, now everything looks so static and weird. I don't like the new movement.

    And again, they haven't told us everything in the patchnotes. I already have discovered some good things, they haven't mentioned. But also a heavy light armor nerf, they haven't mentioned

    The selling point for light armor was the spell cost reduction and spell penetration. Light armor no longer gives spell penetration. It now has a 75% chance on hit, that the next attack of you ignores a very very tiny amount of spell resistance.

    5 minutes of pvp and even though spending all my stat points into magica nets me lower [%tual] dmg output compared to an average health PvP opponent than on live...

    spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused

    Post 1.6 tactic
    1. Apply surge. Oh wait, for anyone with a Magicka build it DOES ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, nada, zilch. Yet Magicka builds must put points into it and level it up if they want the morph.
    2. Select morph
    a) For Stamina builds it's easy, you get Damage increase + Heal
    b) For Magicka builds you must choose one OR the other.
    3. Heal is nice....except that
    a) Crit chance has been lowered reducing the chance of getting a heal
    b) procs off DOTS that do negligible damage resulting in a heal that
    wouldn't heal a paper cut.
    c) the new one second CD means that paper cut heal just used up your heal. So instead of getting a small additional heal from the DOT you get that small heal INSTEAD of your regular heal.

    I do like your advice though

I mean, why not just remove healing from the game altogether if all that is needed is to just stay away from getting hit.

    @ZOS
    PLEASE fix Surge. Follow through on the most recent suggestion from the Devs
    Make Healing the base ability for Surge and then one morph add Weapon damage while the other adds Spell damage.
    And remove the one second Cool Down.

    If they ever create a Legendary recipe it better contain bacon as one of the ingredients. I'm just sayin'.

    Mitigation OR hit points need a boost and i think the block cost for blocking an ae spell should be less than a normal spell. I'm not a fan of permablock, i run staves but it seems like actual defenders are just stammed out on pts all day.

    There are lots of needed improvements to the Templar's Dawn's Wrath line. So far so good. But...

    The nerf to Restoring Aura absolutely cripples stamina builds (the active form of the skill goes from buffing Stamina regen 80% to 30%). No one was asking for this to be changed, and it removes the primary reason to play a stamina Templar.

    When they said Templars were getting improvements, they forgot to say that their healing was also getting nerfed. They give with one hand and taketh away with the other.

    So basically, Templars got some good new skills, but their two primary roles (healer and stamina DPS) got ruined.

    Meanwhile, Dark Talons gets a buff. LOL. Even when they're supposedly nerfing DKs, they're buffing them. Seriously, who was asking for a buff to Talons?

    So basically people are crying that they cant stand in groups of enemies and run round aoeing everything without dying like i always see people doing? While i try and catch up with my 2H stamina build and maybe land a hit or two?

    If so i like these changes! Sounds like people just need to ween themselves off easy mode.

    It totally ruins the game seeing half the game population running around doing the exact same thing, and everything else not being as effective.
