Vengeance seems incredibly OP

"Vengeance: Guarantees your next spell will be a critical hit after you block three spells."

This was an immediate red flag as soon as I saw it. Does anyone else fee this is incredibly strong, especially with the current block casting meta? In PvP a block casting player in a large group engagement will basically have 100% spell crit as long as they continue to block and are taking enough hits. This counts for heals too.

Even in small fights this allows block casters to have a 100% crit rate on self heals like GDB or breath of life with a bit of timing. Or 100% crit on their big nuke (negated by impen so not as big of a deal).

Please don't give block casters any more advantage than they already have...

    I totally agree, but I'm worried about how things will be before they finally get around to "fixing" block casting.

    breath of life crits all the time without a guarantee, at low health.

    Reinforced (120) - When blocking gain a damage shield for 143 every 20 seconds.

    Do we really need to make Blocking more powerful? If anything I'd like to see Blocking made weaker.

    Make it 180 instead of 360 and significantly increase the cost (so as to encourage situational blocking and not perma-blocking.)

    You realize that is virtually nothing on PTS right? Those are some of the worse abilities in the game.

    Takes a lot more than that now.

    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    Yes . Base line effective light attacks seem to be around 800 damage now , crits around 10K . Math is OPin 1.6

    You should have at least 20k health now and you should be doing dps anywhere from 2k-5k. Are you really concerned about getting 25 damage returned to you and a 143 damage shield every 20 seconds?

    Sure, you want blocking to be 180 not 360. That is understandable, but don't make bad arguments for it lol.

    Have you blocked on PTS yet? Good luck blocking three spells and still having any stamina.

    Not really. If crits are actually a thing in PvP, people with 50%+ crit builds will critically hit you with every other spell they cast without any preconditions.

    I don't think there's going to be any "perma-blocking" after this update.

    I suggest you go test stuff out before giving suggestions on changing things.
