Enlightenment system++

Great question about XP boost stacking. Could an ESO Plus member use a Ring of Mara while being under Enlightenment? Would that be at least a 30% XP boost or even more?

That's pretty much what I was thinking. a 10% bonus isn't all that much but 30% bonus is.

Even 20% would be noticeable and I don't see how they can not allow the Ring of Mara and the Subscriber bonus to stack.

The character I used the Ring of Mara on is used EXCLUSIVELY to play with a friend of mine and we get to play... at most... 5 hours a week. So it's slow progression there. We're currently mid-20s as far as levels go.

Due to us BOTH buying the Imperial Collectors pre-order editions... I have an extra Ring of Mara. It's just sitting in my bank waiting to be used or accidentally junked. lol.

Anyway, point it. There are players out here that still have the blasted thing to use!

I believe they already said it will accumulate up to the next CP point. So no indefinite accumulation as far as I know.

A 10% + Rings of Mara is a lot, though Rings of Mara is not something we can use all the time so well, it's acceptable. I just wish there are no boosts on the crown shop for sale. Way more than enough as it is.

I was under the impression that most people use rings o' mara already. I used it with my wife, but because she played less then me we broke up (ingame) and i used other rings. So for me the rings where useless anyway, but it was a nice extra. Still have them for sentimental values.

Can you answer how "Enlightenment" works? Do you gain XP faster while Enlightened and that gets you Champion Points faster? Or do you gain XP at same rate, but amount of XP needed for a Champion Point is lower while Enlightened? I probably play too much to be Enlightened, but still curious...

Ring of Mara only works when both players are wearing the ring and are in a group together (and possibly need to be in the same zone). We were grinding with a friend and in an hour the difference was an extra 56k exp per hour last night for the two of us wearing RoM vs our friend without a ring.

That said.....I am not sure the exp is as big a buff as it seems (losing the equipment slot is painful for my build, not 10% painful though).

If stacked with TU+ that would be 112k per hour extra and if buffed with enlightenment (4x exp???) Then it is an extra 448k exp per hour bonus....seems noticable...especially for cp farming (which some will probably do).

Can you clarify if the bonus will be multiplicative or additive.
In other words, will 2 X 10% XP bonuses result in a 20% or 21% XP bonus total?
